Won't forget that ever. We were on the way to a late afternoon kick-off at Easter Road (being revamped at the time) when the news came through, I was actually talking to newly-signed Mitchell Van Der Gaag under their old rickety main stand when we were told. It must have filtered through to the players because not one of them looked interested, and you could fully understand why. Hibs comfortably won 2-0, but the result was immaterial. Complete gent.
  2. Their reserves rarely lose, and certainly not by four. Tremendous result.

Anyone know why MM was speaking to the Plod during the game yesterday (photo 5)....BBC

Aye I know....but it's got to end sometime!

I think Hibs won't win at Love Street, and we can win at Greyskull. They are utter, utter gash. No reason we can't get something there, despiet the negativity from yesterday.

And Aberdeen will be missing Kerr who got a straight red today. Been a useful player for them this season.

Attendance 5434. If all the 3500 tickets were taken up, that's terrible!

Thing for me is that it wasn't that long ago we'd lose when playing so poorly. We've not been exactly brilliant the past couple of weeks and taken four from six. Even last week we had less possession and fewer direct chances than the visitors yet won. Positives in every situation.

Does feel like a defeat. However, still a long, long way to go. Beat Abersheepy in two weeks and we stay in the mix.

Clkarky should've scored the winner. Ah well, back into the top six....

For me, it's no accident they've only one win this year - and that was against a second division side in the cup AFTER a replay. Preparpations have been good. Think we'll do this mob 3-0, Clarky, McLean and Klimples.

Compare the two clubs at Rugby Park tomorrow. Home side, £12Million in debt and up shit creek. Away team, no debt and turning over a profit year after year. 'Mon the 'Well!!!!

As good a time as any to break that no away wins record. This is the one!
  14. SCup First wee bit of that historical tie against the men from the North in 1982. Check out Shuggie's gloves!!
  15. Snap mate! Was the first player I ever had as a hero. Him and Sir Les of Ferdinand were the two I would idolise!
  16. What about a big banner in the colours of his national flag saying "Maros MUST STAY!!!!" or something like that.......
  17. I've always wondered what the late, great Andy Russell would have made of his beloved park. Can imagine he's looking down shaking his head at the state of what was once the best park in the country....under his stewardship. It'll be eleven years come the end of this month the great man has been gone.
  18. If that's the case, I imagine the crowd is going to be absolutely dismal.
  19. Cooper was superb for the Nancy away match. Will certainly be doing all I can to get up for this one!

Are there any SPL Rules? They seem to be mere "guidlines" given how often they've been "open to interpretation" over the years.....

Bit like Gretna and Dundee United last season. They managed to beat United "home" and away last season despite being absolutely dire.

Good battling from Clarkson for the winner. Their "penalty" claim, Swanson seemed to roll over Klimpl's oustretched leg. Aye, I'd be yelling for it if it were us, but it'd have been a soft one. Not the stonewall variety Levein was greetin about, and that got Swanson an yellow card for not being able to shut up.

I'd agree, he tried a bit of a chip but I do think on a good pitch it would have bounced on just beyond Kenneth. Had he hit it the way his shot earlier had gone, the one well parried, the net would have been the only thing stopping it.

Just saw the Sheridan shot cleared off the line. On any other pitch but ours, that would've been 2-0!
  25. Voted for Stretch. Terrific today.
