    Queen's Park

Thought Clancy did very well today.
  2. Thought Tim Clancy played well today. Suppose you could argue that we won, we are through, job done really. Still, we'll have to up that level considerably for next week.
  3. Could've played it next week, Cowdenbeath will put Hibs out and we'll be through.........
  4. Jenno apparently has a hamstring issue and won't be risked tomorrow........
  5. Think the wheels will be firmly put back on the bus on Saturday. Cruise, 5-0, and confidence back in the side. Queen's Park are in the third division for a reason.
  6. Randolph,hammell,law,crags,hateley,higdon,Murphy,hutch,clancy,hughes.las start for Well
  7. Jelavic not even on the bench today apparently...
  8. Jelavic recently hasn't looked like he's particularly interested - well, in anything other than a move to the Premiership. He'll leave Ibrox in the next four weeks, and could well be looking after himself. In saying that, Craggs will have to do a Wayne Rooney on him.
  9. That'll be the one where Brian Kerr (no, honestly) equalised with a piledriver from the edge of the box after 51 minutes. Just gotta get tore in lads! Teams that day.... Rangers - Letizi, Hutton, Rodriguez, Hemdani, Papac, Smith, Buffel, Ferguson, Adam (Sebo), Boyd, Novo (Prso). Subs - McGregor, Svensson, Bardsley, Rae, Clement. Motherwell - Meldrum, Quinn, Reynolds, Craigain, Lasley, Paterson (Fitzpatrick), Kerr, Foran, McGarry (McBride) Elliot, McDonald. Subs Smith, Kinniburgh, Connolly, Coakley
  10. Blackburn couldn't win a raffle if they'd the only ticket......then they go and win at Man United who went into the game on the back of two 5-0 wins. Aston Villa's only away win before yesterday was at bottom-of-the table Bolton, they go and win at Chelsea. Point being that, as I've said, in football you never know. That's why anything is possible on Monday, no matter the previous history in the fixture or how teams have been performing all season.
  11. Might not need to worry about Jelavic. QPR have just made an offiical bid for him.........
  12. Sometimes there's only so much negativity anyone can take, Andy! not saying we can't lose, of course we can and stats would point directly to that, but if you went into any game believing you were beaten before you even started what would the point be? Why go if you don't think you have even the slightest of chances? It's gotta happen sometime, we will beat Rangers again, and it'll occur on an occasion like Monday - same as 5th May, 1997. I bet few of the 150 Motherwell fans at that game thought we'd win, I certainly went to the game believing Rangers might well have their foot off the gas and we needed to win so much - and hey, 2-0 to Motherwell (remember Rangers taking nearly 4 and-a-half minutes at the start of the game before they even entered Motherwell's half of the park). Football is a game where anything can and does happen. You just gotta keep believing.
  13. Crowds haven't improved much I know, but the standard on offer certainly has.
  14. The last time Rangers lost three in-a-row in the league was 2000-2001, 0-1 at Hibs, 1-2 at Saint Johnstone, then 0-3 home to Kilmarnock. Certainly possible.
  15. Irish football has certainly improved since they went to Summer football. I'd much rather we played March - October, crowds would be terrific during the Summer with much better football on offer.
  16. Frankly, any team has any chance aginast anyone at any time. Be honest MJC, do you think Saint Johnstone would have gone to Ibrox and Parkhead and went away with without conceding a goal and four points in the bag? You never know, simple as that.
  17. Sure UEFA rules state it can't be live at 3pm on a Saturday, that apart anytime is fine. Got da flu but I'll still be there selling the proggies. Auld sodjer that I am................-)
  18. Got to love the way we back our own players. No wonder half of them lack any confidence..........
  19. Worst of the wind due between about 3 and 6 pm, weather should clear and wind calm down a bit (gusts still in excess of 40mph by kick-off time). 30 years since we had a bigger than two-goal victory over Dunfermline at Fir Park, and only three times have we won by more than a goal. Time to put that right.
  20. Not many, if any, saying we are playing well. It's a results-driven business. We're getting the results therefore we are doing the business.
  21. So, would folk accept fantastic performances and sitting bottom of the league with hard luck after hard luck stories, or sitting clear in third place as McCall takes us forward? We were rudderless when he took over, when they two fooked off North I wonder how many would've said we'd be third a year on. Can't win every week, sometimes you get things like poor home results, the odd away defeat (only two and we're half-way through the season). Speak to Aberdeen fans if you think we're shite. Well done Stu and the lads.
  22. I wonder why on Earth some of our doom and gloom merchants even bother. We'll cruise this one, 4-0 Motherwell.
  23. Shite day, only second defeat to a side outwith the old firm this season. Still clear in third, onwards and upwards.
