  1. Why wasn't Gary Hooper taken to task for two counts of it against Motherwell? Appears to be down to who you play for really.
  2. He hardly "grabbed" his face!
  3. Watch the action again and be honest, a two-match ban for a tickle? FFS, even the commentator didn't mention it..........BBC
  4. Had this been Scott Brown, you can be sure the SFA, shit scared of Celtic, would have insisted that player he touched be banned for 18 months..........
  5. Seem to recall Hooper more or less lamping Jennings earlier this season. Nothing done then. The previous month they ignored an incident when Celtic's Gary Hooper caught Jennings with his elbow in the game against Well at Fir Park. Both times SFA Compliance Officer Vincent Lunny decided not to initiate proceedings Read more: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4014826/Motherwell-cite-Hibernian-plea.html#ixzz1hHhUTno2
  6. Ban confirmed, appeal rejected. Bunch of tossers. Gary Hooper should have got a four-match ban or worse, he gets off and Jennings gets a two-match ban for "violent conduct". Farce.
  7. Looks like they've another one out.... HEARTS midfielder Ryan Stevenson has informed the club he will not play for them again after a request to terminate his contract was refused. Stevenson is outraged at continual wage delays and told senior Hearts officials that the stress is taking its toll at home, where wife Hannah is expecting their first child. He had asked for his contract, which expires in June, to be terminated and all monies owed to him waived, thus allowing him a fresh start when the January transfer window opens. However, his request was knocked back by the Hearts board who still see him as a saleable asset. The player has now told the club he will not train or play again in the hope of forcing their hand. Stevenson is seeking a severance deal which would allow him to leave at the first opportunity and continue his career elsewhere. Paulo Sergio, the Hearts manager, has been told of his decision and it remains to be seen if the Portuguese can persuade Stevenson to change his mind before this weekend's SPL match with Motherwell. Hearts players received their November wages on December 15 but are still awaiting salaries for this month. Stevenson is angered by the wages problems and, with a baby on the way, has taken the decision to withdraw his services. Legally, that could put him in a precarious position regarding breach of contract, although the midfielder would argue that Hearts are not honouring contracts by failing to pay salaries on time. The 27-year-old is a first-team regular and joint-top goalscorer at Tynecastle this season, and clubs in England's Championship are monitoring his position closely. Meanwhile, Hearts have settled another outstanding six-figure tax bill in response to a second winding-up order inside two months. HMRC lodged a petition at the Court of Session, which forced the Edinburgh club to part with a significant sum. They paid a £1million tax bill only last month, which followed a £200,000 bill which was settled in August. A Hearts spokesperson said: "This is in relation to a historic debt, separate to the previous case, which has been paid this week." Edit - Didn't see that link above............
  8. Flow tweets this....... MFC today notified the SFA of the clubs' intent to contest the fixed 2-match suspension offered to Steve Jennings by the Compliance Officer.
  9. Appeal has to be in by 3 today I'm sure, guess we are leaving it to the last minute........
  10. I'd doubt it, didn't play on Saturday due to this move. It'll probably be the last time that most of their starting eleven play together. Either they'll give it everything, or not give a shite as they know they've got moves lined up anyway.
  11. In any case, Daley didn't kick the ball away. He never got a chance to move and the ball hit off him.
  12. Looked like he hadn't permission to take the free kick to me therefore it shouldn't have been a booking. Interesting to note that, after just 18 games, we have just 12 points less than after a full 38 games last season. 20 Games left, superb effort.
  13. Saw a picture taken from behind their goal of the Goodwin effort, whilst it was a terrific strike Randy was completely unsighted until well too late so he perhaps might have got to it had he seen it. That said, Goodwin should've been showered and changed after receiving a red card well before then. Aye, good player, but complete nasty git at the same time.
  14. He books Daley for being unable to get out of the road of a free kick taken far too quickly. Then one of their strikers plays on well after being flagged for offside, boots the ball towards goal and escapes a card. Exactly the same as kicking the ball away in the rules I'm sure.
  15. After Jennos, was any other deserved? Goodwin did what he wanted really.
  16. Had Goodwin got the red he deserved so early the game would have changed considerably. You could sense that, had anyone of our five (FIVE yellows, and were any seriously deserved?) players on a booking made anything remotely late, they'd have been instantly dismissed. Goodwin just seemd do do what he liked all afternoon, and was guilty of at least four tackles worthy of a yellow after the eariler incident.
  17. Why was Goodwin allowed to stay on the park? After punching Jenno, he then continued to do one hefty foul after another and wasn't even spoken to! Not a good game, still, a point is a point.
  18. Motherwell V Hearts 18th February Dunfermline v Motherwell 3rd March Both now on BBC Alba.
  19. Noticed the lights on at Fir Park this evening, wonder how the test went?
  20. Reckon the Ref just guessed, no way he could've known for definite and I'd always thought benefit of the doubt went to the striker. Never mind, still 3-0!
  21. Cracking flick from Omar Daley about 13 minutes in. Should be on showboat next week surely! Tremendous result today. Magic.
  22. Saint Mirren won there 2-0 and then 1-0 in the space of four weeks. No reason why we can't considering our outstanding away form.
  23. Selling programmes in July has GOT to be better than early December. Shurely.
  24. Did they still give him the 100 nicker despite dribbling the ball virtually into the net?
  25. Thought I'd start a thread for what is an absolutely crucial game if we are to be serious about taking third this season. Saint Johnstone have been playing well all season and whilst we haven't been hitting the heights often, we've kept up there. How does everyone see this going, and who would you start with?
