  1. Really lovely tribute that video. Very emotional - and yeah when Faddy points to his armband - that's what really gets me started.
  2. RIP Uncle Phil. Taken far too soon - can't believe how quick the year has gone. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
  3. I actually quite like the team coming out to that. Also like that 'Up The 'Well' is being played before kick off too

    Fans Tsar

Have to agree here, although the idea is good and if it were to be successful it would be even better, I doubt it would be possible to please everyone. I mean how could you? I admit, I've not always been happy with the way the club has done things (Nancy for example), but let's face it. No matter what the club do, someone is going to be left angry/upset etc etc. All that matters is that things ARE moving forward which can only be beneficial to the club and the supporters.

Aw that's not so good. Hopefully someone has picked it up and handed it in to the club for ya mate. Fingers crossed!
  6. Went for Clarkson. Thought he had a great game yesterday - never stopped the whole game. The whole team did well - really pleased with the performance yesterday. Hopefully same again next week lads!

Very fitting at 78 minutes. More emotional than I thought it would be. Seemed to me that yesterday the team looked like they were playing for something. More than they have done the past couple of games. All the boys played well and definitely could have scored a couple more. Hopefully this is the result we needed to get back to winning ways. Mon the 'Well.
  8. Got my ticket. Was absolutely freezing stood in that queue. Good of them to open the doors a bit earlier for us all waiting. A hangover and very little sleep didn't help the situation - but still I'm pleasedI got my ticket and I'm going.
  9. Think the huddle is a nice idea. Gives the team time together with their own thoughts and the fans a chance for the minutes applause. Been thinkingabout Phil's family today, the first Christmas without him will no doubt be the most horrible for them. Hopefully they get through it ok and have all their family round them to ease the pain a little.
  10. Merry Christmas everyone and all the best for 2009 when it comes!
  11. Were the photos definitely in stock yeah? I remember reading that there were hardly any left.

    Accies On Saturday

I'm missing the game thanks to my boss not letting me have the day off. Really gutted about this one - think we might sneak a win here. Here's hoping anyways! Mon the 'Well.
  13. I'm sure the club will give us enough notice for trying to organise around work/family committments etc. But in case they're reading this - a Wednesday suits me great!
  14. Do we have any idea at all when tickets will be on sale? Just be good to have a rough idea for folk wanting off work etc
  15. Looks like it'll be a good day out. Freezing - but good!! Bring it on!
  16. I'll be renewing mine. I understand the views of those who won't be for whatever reason. It's up to the individual, but I'll still be going along every week. And hopefully if the saving goes better next year I'll be trying to get to more away games too.

    Mark McGhee

I agree with what Neil said, harsh as it sounds it is basically true. As 'Well fans we would all love to be sitting top of the league, winning trophy after trophy and jetting off to a different country every year to watch us play, but it ain't happening and hasn't done consistently for well, never! I spoke to so many folk after Nancy who said it was fantastic - made all the more special by the long wait we had to play European football again and the great season we had. That is what Motherwell is about. Having really bad lows, pretty often, let's be honest, but also having the most magnificent highs. So yeah, it'd be great to have a season like last every year, but we need to face up to the fact that it probably won't happen. It hasn't been happening so far. What we do need, is to keep behind the team and Mark McGhee, no matter how hard it is or how much we disagree with tactics/ideas/effort etc etc. We need to get to as many games as we can and cheer the team on - let them know we are behind them 100% hard as it may seem when we're playing badly. That's what you do though, you support your team. Always.
  18. Let's try not to think it could ge to that situation. I believe next year we will be playing in the SPL, but I do also believe we will finish in the bottom 6. I hope the team prove me wrong. At the end of the day though, yeah it's not good to be going to see them week in week out and having to cope with poor results, but I'll still be watching them - whatever division it happens to be in.
  19. I didn't hae a problem with them. Yeah, I understand why some might not like them, but that's fair enough. Each to their own. Thought the stewards were very harsh tonight and didn't need to be. Nobody (as far as I saw) was causing any trouble, just trying to keep spirits up in one of the worst games for atmosphere I've been to in a long while.
  20. Such a moving video. Tears in my eyes watching that.
  21. Yeah they look really good. Hopefully Santa will get me the one taken before kick-off.
  22. I always think that a minutes round of applause is nicer than a minutes silence. Obviously, I underastand the meaning and importance behind the silence, but I have just always thought the applause to be more fitting when remembering someone's life and what they meant to people. Good idea.
