If they say the pitch is playable at 9am....it should still be ok at noon. More chance of it being called off at 9 and then turning out it would have been fine. Is there not?

Ok, so I am actually starting to look forward to it now. Hopefully it's on. I'm working til 1pm tomorrow so it'll be 'Well strip at work for me tomorrow so I can head straight for the bus after finishing. Fingers crossed!!

I'm thinking the same too. To be honest, I know it depends on temperatures etc, but I just can't see it getting played next week although obviously I hope it does. My boss is getting mega pissed off too ( I can understand) but I'd rather pester her for the time off than risk missing the game in case it is on.

Yeah Tuesday does make more sense - just wasn't sure how late they would leave it. And maybe they would leave it as late as Wednesday morning to see how the pitch was to try to get the game played.

Ah right I see. As for them giving other teams a chance - I can understand where they're coming from, but I find it hard to believe that any other team will have as lively and vocal a support as ours. Doubt that they'd bring as many fans either but you never know I suppose, We'll find out the following year if we're missed.

Exactly - a game like today's wouldn't be nearly as good if we were like this every game! Saying that, a few more games like this from now til the end of season would be very nice indeed!
