  1. I'm not a parent, but I must say I would find it very strange if my children didn't support Motherwell. I don't like the idea of me having to put up with them supporting another team...in fact - they won't be. hey will be brainwashed with all things Motherwell!!
  2. My dad and uncles are all lifelong 'Well fans and first took me to Wishaw to see the Scottish Cup and the team on the open top bus. A couple of years after that, they took me to a couple of games, but my dad didn't think it was a very girly thing to be going to and stopped takng me. But by then I was Motherwell daft and tagged along with my uncles whenever I could and to this day still sit with them every home game. Just couldn't imagine not being a Motherwell fan.

Just can't beat Daniels at all for Scotland games. The place to be.
  4. Just watching Sportscene and it just looks awful. The Sahara.
  5. Went for McClean just ahead of Hughes. Quite possibly the best I've seen Hughes play today, but McClean was just superb. Have to agree that Quinn played well in a different position and Buzz certainly kept us in the game with a couple of fantastic saves. Good day all round I think and a well deserved and definitely well needed 3 points! Mon the 'Well!
  6. Great news! Well done to Mark! Well deserved this month.
  7. Saw in the Wishaw Press today, that the Motherwell FC girls coach, Angie Wilson won the best ' Volunteer in Women's/Girls' Football award at the Scottish Grassroots Awards ceremony. The article made good reading, I didn't ralise that the number of girls from the club represnting Scotland is in double figures. No wonder after the great season all unders teams had! Fantastic work and great to get the recognition she deserves. Well done!!
  8. I'm sure someone said you can get a ticket at the door on the night?

Yasssss!! Get in there Motherwell! Hope Craigan's alright....
  11. If they hadn't joined together...what would be celebrating on Saturdays? Who would be watching - it sure wouldn't be Motherwell anyways.
  12. Of course it does. Besides, it's not that bad that it will (maybe) have been 20 years since the last cup win. Just makes the next one all the better when it happens. We all know that!
  13. I don't have a problem with any set of fans forming some sort of group to bring a bit of atmosphere back to the games. Good on them, name is a bit strange but it's their choice. Only thing I would say is why do they sit in the back 2 rows of the second last section? The folk who season ticket seats are there had to move and surely this new group saw that these seats were always used?

Prices are supposed to be staying the same as the current strip at beginning of the season mate.
  15. I actually thought we played a lot better away than we did back home at Fir Park.
  16. Yeah I know what you mean. I can't see anything on my season ticket though - only mentions not taking any photographic equipment into the ground/match. Nothing about photos being taken of supporters. I'm not bothered by this at all, just wondered how it worked that was all.
  17. Is this the group that I saw at the Accies game? Wearing like police hats etc?
  18. Saw something about this on the newsletter. Could be a good laugh.
  19. Think it's a good idea for the extra cash etc. Agree about maybe paying to download for pc background or whatever - something I suppose they can look into considering it's just starting. Only thing about the fans in the pictures...not that any would I suppose, but could they object to them being in them and being sold?

The JVoH/Craigan decision was absolutely shocking - and of course it wont be shown again. I did actually think that Klimpl was going to get a second yellow too - luckily enough he didn't.

O'Brien for me - he had a great game today.
  22. Really enjoyed the game today and thought the whole team played well together. They all got stuck in and it certainly paid off. O'Brien was fantastic today - getting better every week. Man of the match for me. I also thought Klimpl didn't play as well as he has done previously, still did well protecting the back 4. Great goal celebration and good to hear the fans getting behind the team, especially after the Celtic goal, rather than booing etc. Think that will have lifted the boys a bit too. Well deserved point today. Bring on next week!! Mon the 'Well!
