Came across well on the radio, and the TV highlights seemed to show the Shed busier than usual, (and the Cooper for that matter). Top of the league after 3 games, no goals conceded, and the Shed beginning to vibrate again...... FANTASTIC. Tynie gets many plaudits for its atmosphere. Get the Shed booming and Fir Park will receive similar comment, and the players will appreciate it and perform accordingly imho. It's a win-win. Well don Dee and the guys ......... keep it going.

That is a decent attendance on Fare Saturday, and just under 2k Leeds fans is a damn decent effort on their part. Delighted to hear the positive notes coming from those at the game.

Shame Mark Reynolds hasn't proved a hit at Hillsborough. He was a very decent player at Motherwell, playing for Scotland U 21's and attracting a £1M from Rangers, (which we foolishly turned down). No disrespect to Wed, but I think he took the wrong option going there. OK, the money would have been a huge incentive, but Wed have been in a low ebb in recent years. Although my English team has been Leeds for almost 40 year I do like to see Yorkshire Clubs doing well, (except for S.U.F.C.). I followed Motherwell to a pre-season friendly at Brammall Lane in the early 80's and we weren't exactly welcomed with open arms - clenched fists more like, so I've hated the Blades ever since. Like many other posts above, I wouldn't take MR back.

Pehaps not as much as in early '80's when they last visited. Most 'Well fans I knew back then supported Leeds or Liverpool. Good fixture though

A week down the line am perhaps able to view it more objectively, and while I am bitterly disappionted to lose a final, just like 2005 CIS, we were never really in it tbh. Rather that than a dodgy unlucky loss. We'll pick ourselves up, brush ourselves down and get on with it because we have nothing to be ashamed off:- we are a provincial club who continue to punch above our weight and have been more successful than Clubs with far greater resources than ourselves. Exactly. Sutton signed a 3 year deal with us and put a shift in, and earned his wage, for those 3 years. I say best of luck to him, (OK, not gainst Motherwell obviously), and anyone who boos him if/when he turns out for Hearts against us is a Tosser.
