  1. Same pattern as Glentoran I suspect. Close for the first 60 mins and then we turn the screw in the last 30.
  2. Especially when you see news like Aston Villa just signing Arsenal's 2nd string keeper for £20 million.
  3. I meant that it's a coin toss whether a new vaccine is approved first or we all catch the virus first. I'll follow the science and the scientists if we ever get a vaccine. If the scientists are happy enough to be vaccinated with it themselves, it's probably fine.
  4. I think it's neck and neck between a vaccine being approved and all of us catching the virus.
  5. If you mean from television payments, then not directly. All the television money is pooled then, as per UEFA, "the clubs receive a share of revenue fixed in accordance with the value of the TV market of the country they represent." So the more money that is added to the pool the more money we should get from our "fixed share". (at least I think it still works that way).
  6. Motherwell. Official supplier of Second String EPL Goalies.
  7. With no reserve league, getting our youngsters proper competitive and consistent game time seems like a good option.
  8. They're supposed to, but I haven't tried it for a long time. I have an Android box hooked up directly to my TV.
  9. Right now the BBC article only says that it will be streamed live on the BBC Sport website.
  10. It was fine before all you free loading season ticket holders joined us. (TBF, it's fine for me now too. Apart from the brief outages yesterday, my streams have been rock solid despite having a less than stellar internet speed).
  11. I think we need to settle on a starting front 2 (or 3) and stick with it for a few games. Starting with a different line-up every week isn't doing anyone any favours. You won't find consistency with an inconsistent team selection.
  12. Mugabi - 90% best performance and 10% reminding people how he spells his name. Definitely a contender for this season's Hutchison-Humphreys award.
  13. I noticed that. I thought he'd be 3rd choice when he moved there, but he's only one injury away from an EPL start. I imagine he'll get a run in one of the cups, which seems to be the norm these days.
  14. Delighted with the 3 points. My stress levels preferred it when we dominated possession and drew.
  15. It's a classic "looking for a first win" performance.
  16. Can see the nerves taking over. Need someone up top to get the second and ease the stress.
  17. New St Johnstone manager. Same agricultural tackling.
  18. Your season ticket is guaranteed to get you into a full season of home games once crowds are allowed back in. The streams are a free benefit until that happens. So, to be fair, you are getting your money's worth. Unlike the overseas subscribers who pay only for the stream.
  19. Depends on a lot of different factors, a there are there are lot of moving parts in between the server and your house. Player 1 has been rock solid for me in the US this morning, but prior weeks 2 and 3 have been better.

If it was just the players' fault we wouldn't be seeing the same pattern repeat itself year after year for 20 years. The issue runs much deeper than that, and starts at the grass roots level. I keep banging on about it , but when France had the problem of under performing teams, they put a ten year plan in place to develop players from the ground up. A plan they stuck with even after an early minor disaster of blowing a World Cup qualification in 1994. They followed it through and ended up with a national team that won the Euros and the World Cup. Meanwhile, when Strachan took over the international job he went on record with his surprise at the squads' poor technical skills and how he had to quickly dumb-down the tactics he wanted to use because the players were incapable of executing. Once the rot sets in, it takes more then swapping in new players to fix it. The whole system needs shaking up and there has been nobody in the SFA with the courage to change it. That's how you end up with Malky Mackay as the performance director for the past 4 years. (Any idea what he does? Me either.) We don't have the infrastructure in place to develop international teams, and I don't see anything that makes me think there is appetite for change.

Maybe. Or maybe it's to do with the fact we have 100% of our left backs out right now and we play a different defensive formation every week - including a back 3 which definitely doesn't suit Gallagher.
