  1. It might be - but I'm struggling to find that anywhere, Of course the prize money might be less this year with single leg ties and no crowds - the figures I had were from last season. Regardless it's all extra money in the bank.
  2. What I'm trying to say is that 220k is your baseline for being papped out in the preliminary round. If you progress you get 240k if you are papped out. Win that and you get 260k if you are papped out in the 3rd round. etc. These are all just baseline payments. In prior years the TV money share has been quite tasty too. 200k+ per round sounds like a lot, but UEFA money can be a bit mental.
  3. I think you're right. I think basically those figures are what you get when you are knocked out in each of those rounds.
  4. According to the Herald, for us to be seeded in the next round, two of the following teams needed to lose in the First Qualifying Round: APOEL Nicosia Malmö FF Partizan Belgrade FCSB NK Maribor Hapoel Beer-Sheva Rosenborg BK Apollon Limassol FC Fehérvár Shkendija Tetovo The New Saints Dinamo Minsk Lech Poznan Aberdeen Zrinjski Mostar Kairat Almaty Zalgiris Vilnius I'll be honest - I haven't checked.
  5. Exactly. And you can see why teams are desperate to get to the group stages.
  6. Last season's payments were quoted as: Preliminary round: €220,000 First qualifying round: €240,000 Second qualifying round: €260,000 Third qualifying round: €280,000 Play-off round elimination: €300,000 Base fee for group stage: €2,920,000 Group match victory: €570,000 Group match draw: €190,000 Group winners: €1,000,000 Group runners-up: €500,000 Round of 32: €500,000 Round of 16: €1,100,000 Quarter-finals: €1,500,000 Semi-finals: €2,400,000 Runner-ups: €4,500,000 Champions: €8,500,000 Those are the fixed payments, I believe, then there is additional TV money depending on the size of the local market.
  7. It is the home team commentary feed, so I don't mind that. It used to be much more biased last season when it was Lewis + a well player as co-commentator.
  8. I don't usually vote if I'm just watching a stream, but I suppose everyone is in the same boat now. Long for me, just ahead of Polworth. I thought Watt added a spark when he came on too and, of course, Trev's save in the first half prevented a mini crisis.
  9. More rounds and more money please. Especially if fans can't even get in to watch.
  10. Jock Brown and Lewis Irons are a little bit less even handed on the stream's commentary. It's actually quite a good listen.
  11. Harry Robinson will be getting his pocket money docked for conceding a pen.
  12. Aye, Long looking much sharper tonight. Deserves a goal.
  13. Finally turning the screw with a wee bit of confidence.
  14. Watt injecting a bit of urgency into the front line too.
  15. Tony Watt on - he scored against Barcelona, you know.
  16. Run faster, pass forward, face the goal - amazing how simple it can be.
  17. Our strikers are all playing like Curtis Main. Back to the goal, not gambling on position and afraid to shoot.
  18. That's because the buying club and the selling club both agreed to disclose the amount. If either party wants to keep it secret they make that part of the deal.
