  1. Looking good here. No commentary, but that's not a problem.
  2. Stream is up an running. Hope the team is too.
  3. Would be hilarious if, after all the "stop the 10 in a row chat" either us, or any other team, pushed them into 3rd spot.
  4. It is for me. Can't speak for Texas, though. They might have banned it because they don't want their freedom taken away by the SPFL covid protocols.
  5. The money on offer makes the EPL a ruthless place to work as a manager. The fact that many clubs are owned and run by sketchy billionaires who aren't averse to dodgy deals (or worse) just adds to the ruthlessness. The upside to being a manager there is, if you get sacked, the payoff from your contract will probably be more than most of us will earn in a lifetime.
  6. Ah, fair enough. Down with UEFA and their anti-hoopist policies!
  7. It starts when the all the players are younger than you. Then it's the managers that are younger than you. Then you see the surname of a player you recognise and wonder if it's their son - and it turns out to be their grandson.
  8. I know I'm getting old and nostalgic, but the old guard of sports commentators and presenters (Archie McPherson, Arthur Montford, Des Lynam, David Vine, Harry Carpenter, David Coleman, Bill McLaren, Ron Pickering etc.) were never bettered. Probably because the training ground for those guys doesn't really exist any more. Even David Icke was better than most of today's lot, and he's a certifiable loon.
  9. I never understand why they insist on having ex-players as presenters. By all means use them as pundits, but being the main host of a programme, like most jobs, is a skill that takes years to learn and needs the talent of a seasoned professional broadcaster.
  10. Is the offical reason for our kit not having a hoop actually due to UEFA regulations?
  11. You can do that when you are a big team with brand recognition that is going to shift a load of kit (and gets paid for wearing it rather than having to buy it). Having said that, technology is catching up and it probably won't be too long until manufacturers can produce custom shirts for an economical price.
  12. Donnelly has "right back" listed as one of his positions in wikipedia.
  13. I think Joe Wark might have something to say about that. (Derek Murray does not).
  14. Early selections and formations often depend on who got up to speed quickest during the presason. The new signings will most likely be a week or two behind. Add the fact that we can have 5 subs, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3 different formations in each of early games.
  15. All the details on the 'Well Shop home page. Expecting the home shirts to go on sale from Thursday 6th August.
  16. I saw today the 'Well Shop has started the process of sending out the pre-ordered away strip. They confirmed the pre-orders will be minus a sponsor on the front. I don't know where that leaves us regarding the front of shirt sponsor, but it will certainly be a better look.
  17. Here's his highlight reel from his Oldham spell. Looks like he has a wee touch of gallus about him - which is always good.
  18. I agree we had good all round contributions for goal scoring last season. I hope that continues, but a more clinical striker would help reduce the number of games where we end up hanging on. It's not good for my old nerves.
  19. Maybe Chris Long deciding to re-sign after it looked like it he was moving on.
  20. Just hoping at least one of strikers can have a 10+ goals season this time around.
  21. Semicolon? Now your just showing off!
  22. And I don't think they will pay £20 to watch a game at that particular ground where you get more entertainment stuck in traffic driving to Livingston. But time will tell.
  23. If his defence is "it wasn't that hot" he needs another lawyer.
