  1. You can do that when you are a big team with brand recognition that is going to shift a load of kit (and gets paid for wearing it rather than having to buy it). Having said that, technology is catching up and it probably won't be too long until manufacturers can produce custom shirts for an economical price.
  2. Donnelly has "right back" listed as one of his positions in wikipedia.
  3. I think Joe Wark might have something to say about that. (Derek Murray does not).
  4. Early selections and formations often depend on who got up to speed quickest during the presason. The new signings will most likely be a week or two behind. Add the fact that we can have 5 subs, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3 different formations in each of early games.
  5. All the details on the 'Well Shop home page. Expecting the home shirts to go on sale from Thursday 6th August.
  6. I saw today the 'Well Shop has started the process of sending out the pre-ordered away strip. They confirmed the pre-orders will be minus a sponsor on the front. I don't know where that leaves us regarding the front of shirt sponsor, but it will certainly be a better look.
  7. Here's his highlight reel from his Oldham spell. Looks like he has a wee touch of gallus about him - which is always good.
  8. I agree we had good all round contributions for goal scoring last season. I hope that continues, but a more clinical striker would help reduce the number of games where we end up hanging on. It's not good for my old nerves.
  9. Maybe Chris Long deciding to re-sign after it looked like it he was moving on.
  10. Just hoping at least one of strikers can have a 10+ goals season this time around.
  11. Semicolon? Now your just showing off!
  12. And I don't think they will pay £20 to watch a game at that particular ground where you get more entertainment stuck in traffic driving to Livingston. But time will tell.
  13. If his defence is "it wasn't that hot" he needs another lawyer.
  14. The Championship transfer window only opened yesterday.
  15. There's probably more to it than that as Accies and Livi didn't even have a stream they could offer to their own fans last season. It's new for 20/2021. Maybe a rights thing (complicated by the fact that clubs were streaming the BBC feed, but with their own commentators). Anyway, if that's the case again this season, Livi charging £20 makes even less sense as I doubt many fans will spring for that. I'll be happy enough to get my home games and any away game is a bonus.
  16. This is what I'm not sure about. Last season, clubs like Accies, Livi and St Mirren didn't offer streams of their home games to MFC TV subscribers. (Accies and Livi didn't have a service and St Mirren made you pay for their games separately). Because this is a new and short term deal to allow access during closed-door games, it's still not clear (at least to me) if these same clubs will become part of the regular "streaming package" (like MFC, Rangers and Celtic TV) or if they are able to opt out like last season and force 'away' fans to buy a ticket for that match.
  17. Did we not have another game scheduled for today? I thought I heard chat about a Tuesday game, but haven't really been keeping up since the reshuffle that brought Accies into the mix at the weekend.
  18. Sky don't broadcast Scottish games overseas, so there are normally different arrangements - especially for OF games.
  19. I've got enough ad and script blockers to stop then getting any revenue from me.
  20. Sticking it to the single people again.
  21. They'll be able to show it to paying overseas fans I think. Although I'm still unclear about about this specific deal.
  22. Livi are obviously just hoping to grab OF fans' money when they play them to make up for any lack of fans in their other games. If it's not covered by my regular overseas sub they certainly won't be getting any money from me.
  23. Aye. Season ticket holders are, in effect, getting streaming of home games for free. That's assuming they can attend all the home games on their ticket once the crowds are back.
  24. Which makes perfect sense. With more teams like Accies and Livi offering streaming this season I wonder if their away games will be included in the overseas MFC TV subs, or if they will also be PPV only on a per match basis.
