  1. It wasn't that long ago we were single-handedly responsible for keeping them in the league with the amount of points we donated to them. Nice that they have returned the favour.
  2. It's crazy. Especially in this day and age when players and managers change clubs every 2 years. That's Scottish fitba' for you though.

That's what you found interesting in that picture? Shirt geek!
  4. Expect steelboy on here any moment congratulating the "fan owned club" for doing right by the fans. (It's a scunner when they keep doing the right thing).
  5. Aye. It's a conspiracy. Robbo and 'Flow are just OF fans in disguise. Personally, I'm happy for us to keep away from the lowest common denominator scrapping in the gutters.
  6. You just want Robinson's supsended touchline ban to kick in.
  7. You must be relieved you can have another pop at him again (however much of a stretch it is). That 6 game stretch must have been killing you.
  8. They bought McAllister for the footballing potential and Mauchlen for ginger 'tache potential.
  9. Bob McHugh, Craig Moore (especially beside Lee Erwin) and Dom Thomas were all standouts at the U20 level. If we did a Dundee Utd and signed them all on 6 year contracts, they'd all still be on the payroll.
  10. As I said, I'm looking forward to us having a go - but I'm pretty sure other teams have tried similar tactics in the past few seasons with various levels of success. We did OK in our 1 - 1 draw at Fir Park and I'd be delighted if we pulled that off this time,
  11. Aye that Tierney's a no-hoper. I'm quite happy for us to take our free shot at them and see how it goes - and it could be a great game if we maintain our current form. But the fact they have won every home game this season shows how big a task this will be.
  12. Dodgy defence that has conceded zero league goals in 2019?
  13. When I saw the free kick side on, it looked a bit weak. From behind, though, it looked more impressive and really had the keeper scrambling. He still should have saved it, but the fact he had to make up so much ground made it just that bit less routine.
  14. Maybe just killing time before he went to the Celtic game.
  15. Aye, that's what they mentioned on the MFC TV commentary - that in those situations it's often the guy that overruns the ball that lunges after it and ends up with a card. Regardless of what you think about them, with the rules as they are, I can see why a red card was given.
  16. That's a given. It was more Levein's reasonable point of view that threw me.
  17. Interesting thoughts on the red card. Michael Stewart - "For me Garrucio makes a perfectly good tackle and wins the ball, maybe not a feee kick never mind the red card." Craig Levein - "Putting my old-school hat on, I thought Garuccio won the ball. Taking a step back and thinking what constitutes a red card in modern football, he's gone with two feet off the ground. I find it very difficult to defend him" Never thought I'd see Levein be the voice of reason on that incident.
  18. My stream froze just as the keeper was about to collect Turnbull's free kick. Just as I was thinking "wrong option son" the stream started again. Pleasing.
  19. Glad we pulled away from the relegation zone though. That is developing into a real dogfight.
  20. He has a hamstring injury that flared up when he was doing his warm up before the Stoke game last month. Out for a few weeks.
  21. No wonder he had trouble climbing over the gates on his driveway.
