  1. The correspdonding fixture against Accies last season was certainly entertaining, with Turnbull and Ciftci running the show.
  2. So is anybody going to enlighten me why there is a question mark over Carroll? Or is it one of those secret squirrel deals?
  3. As long as we have stupid fans who want to run onto the pitch, I'm guessing yes.
  4. Why is there a question mark over Carroll? Because of a few random punters on Twitter?
  5. Didn't we not first change our style in the Accies game in December, when we played Frear as a winger and he tore them a new one?
  6. Carroll also plays centre-mid, apparently, so he might a Gorrin replacement.
  7. Even the trolling is end-of-season standard.
  8. I wasn't convinced myself, but difficult to tell from the live stream. Same as last week, however, when we are in the final third - lacking that cutting edge to make clear cut chances.
  9. According to this link (https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scottish-premiership/topVerursachteElfmeter/wettbewerb/SC1) we had conceded 9 before today. The joint second lowest in the Premiership. Not sure how current these figures are, but sounds about right,
  10. Not single handedly - but every penny literally counts (counts double, in fact, at this point).
  11. Think there will be a mass clear out there over the summer.
  12. Sounds like there are rumblings from a number of clubs about the weaknesses of the Reserve League - pretty much along the lines of what Craigan said in his exit interview. If they do change the structure again it might have an impact on how we manage some of the younger players.
  13. Every player in every league gets to vote. Given that most of them never play against Turnbull and, statistically, about half or more are OF fans, they are always going to vote for a Rangers or Celtic player.
  14. I know you expect team mates to stick together, but any time guys like Hartley, Tanner, Cadden etc. are on the commentary, they all rate him. Hartley in particular always said he was great player to have in front of you. He might not be our best ever, but I'm never quite sure where the hate comes from.
  15. I don't think the problem was with our system otherwise you'd have expected him to do better at Killie. Seems to more abouthis attitude. He's young enough to fix that and have a decent career - or he might end up drifting between lower league teams. I'd expect as someone who is a full time Premiership player he'd shine against League One opposition.
  16. Of course you can never be 100% certain, but just from his comments on the MFC TV stream at the weekend, it sounds like Tanner expects to be with us next season.
  17. Win next week and we're back in 7th.
  18. Turnbull's distribution (by his own, normal high standards) was poor today. Thought McHugh and Tait were the pick of the bunch - although the entire team dropped that 1 or 2% you see happen in teams at the end of season with little to play for.
  19. Livi equalise. If both games finish this way we reclaim 7th this afternoon.
  20. Second half St Mirren have changed their tactic of double-marking Ariyibi to just hacking him down any time he gets the ball.
  21. Dominating possession without creating too many chances. A wee bit lucky the ref didn't award St Mirren a pen for Dunne's challenge (even though it was accidental). St Mirren look happy to sit in for a point at the moment. McHugh must be disappointing all his haters.
  22. Looks like Ariybi has been told to play more central today - almost in the slot behind Scott - with Tait taking on the duties for wide left.
