Is the Adidas one any good? I thought about investing in one of those at the time, but in the end didn't want to risk it.

When I saw in this year's accounts that we still trade under The Motherwell Football and Athletic Club Limited, that made me happy. Seeing the "portholes" and the Athletic Club logo when you approached Fir Park was all part of the experience.

It feels like McCormack has been around for years (I suppose he has), but he's only 32 and, if he stays fit, should still have plenty to offer. Davie Cooper was 33 when he signed for us and he just about managed to put in a performance or two. I'm more interested to see if the new signings change the way we play or if they will be forced into the current system.

Is it not FIFA/UEFA that determines what teams have to pay for signing a youngster from another club?

I was watching the game on telly yesterday, and Villa were awful. However, I've seen Villa play a number of times this season and they are generally 10 times better than that. (If you read McCormack's interview in the Evening Times last week it seems there are other reasons for him not getting a game there). Likewise, Wigan were 10 times better yesterday compared to their other games I have seen this season - they are hovering above the relegation zone for a reason.

If anyone said "Awesome, great job" you can pretty much guarantee they were not native New Yorkers. If someone muttered "asshole" when hearing that, they were probably a local.
