It's not updating things I object to. It's the "modern twist" phrase which is, more often than not, used as an excuse to add some ridiculous feature to an existing design and call it new to sell you the same thing twice. Same with food where "modern twist" means sticking chocolate on your steak and serving it on a reclaimed roof tile.

The phrase "modern twist" should be banned from all design studios (and restaurants).

Dundee Utd are howling - I don't think we can pin that on Skippy. He's the 2nd top scorer in the Championship despsite playing in the midfield for a number of games. To use the old cliché, he has found his level there. Doesn't have to work too hard, gets to do all his media work and still contributes enough goals to keep his employers happy. Both Livi and Utd looked very weak defensively in tonight's game. Whoever ends up playing them will be looking forward to that.

I think Moult is a better player than Jutkiewicz, and big Lukas has carved a career out for himself in the Championship.

Any time I've seen Preston this season they have been pretty poor. Difficult to tell if Moult is out of his depth now, as he only get 5 minutes here or there in a formation that is 1 up top.

It's more interesting to listen to the players than the fans. When Hartley, for example, is on Mixlr he can't talk highly enough about McHugh and says it's great playing behind him. I know team mates stick together and all that, but there seems to be a feeling from the guys on the park that he brings a lot to the game.

Sounds like it was one of those games where the award should go to every 'Well fan who stayed until the final whistle.
