  1. To be very very pedantic "the likes of" means teams similar to, not those specific teams.
  2. I think Faddy has more chance of finding a home at the likes of Falkirk or QoS than Fir Park these days.
  3. Official Twitter says Tenner and a Fiver and will be in the Main Stand.
  4. Lies about his height (no way he's 6ft.)
  5. 15 quid sent. Thanks as always for organizing.
  6. I agree about Jeffers' link up play. His off-the-ball movement was also excellent.
  7. I'm a traditionalist - all you need for me is plain green.
  8. Would be nice to get a permanent CM. However, it seems that Bara has been looking to the next transfer window too, so I guess it's not impossible that he brings in someone on a 6 month loan with a view to signing someone else up in January.
  9. Do you have any pictures that have less of those annoying stadiums and more of yourself in them?
  10. Looking forward to his Dutch and Irish photos.
  11. I'm pretty sure Accies will have a sell on fee for every transfer, not just his first one.
  12. MFC Twitter says he set it up for Thomas.
  13. Happy to see how it plays out, but I'll just throw McLair into the discussion as a youngster with no first team games that we picked up. Like you say though, keeper is a slightly different proposition. Are we sure it is the Leeds kid, though?
  14. Don't know about that. A 21 year old loanee from Sheffield kept him out of the first team.
  15. I said I'd be pleasantly surprised if Skippy re-signed, so this morning I'm pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to see who we bring in as the midfield option.
  16. I know he's not popular on here, but I think Gannon's pre-season was as active (and more productive) than Kampman's.
  17. I still don't mind that if we bring in someone like Randolph toward the end of August.
  18. I don't mind waiting until a week or two after the season starts if it means bringing in the right keeper.
  19. Ad homenim attacks aside, I'm sure we're all anxious to hear which specific part you take issue with. Do you disagree with the notion that The Orange Order perpetuates sectarianism? Or are you just upset that someone using the informal term 'orange marching band' was immediately understood by many? What is the preferred term amongst the participants? Feel free to educate us and relieve us of our obvious ignorance.
  20. Was thinking the same. The guy has been around the EPL and Championship so I hope he has more contacts than that.
  21. In case it's not clear, he and others are saying they think The Orange Order and its affiliates such as The Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland, perpetuate a sectarian divisiveness that has no place in a modern, 21st Century Scottish (or Irish) society.
  22. We brought in (as usual) a manager with contacts in the lower leagues, and implemented a scoutng system to identify lower league players with potential sell on value. So all the signings seem in line with that stratgey.
  23. He's not long turned 19. Nowhere near a make or break season for him. If we take our time to develop him correctly he has the makings of a great player. His only disadvantage is playing in a league where many prefer bulk over talent. A decent coach can develop muscle into a player - you can't coach skill like that into someone.
  24. That is another great bit of PR given the debt they have accrued during this time of "big transfer fees" for their youngsters. Even after Mackay Steven went, weren't they in debt to the tune of 3 million or so? So the amount they are investing isn't generating sufficient return.
