He has the talent and the potential, but he's still a youngster. You know, one of those players that everybody keeps complaining we don't see enough of and then complain they aren't the finished article when they do play. He scored plenty of goals in the U20s, so does have finishing ability. It's a big step up to the first team, though. Some make it, some don't. But far too early to judge based on a handful of performances in a struggling team. I'd definitely be trying to sign him up for next season.

"Reports" like this always surface when teams aren't playing well. Always someone who knows someone that heard from a reliable source.

I'd fancy us against Hibs. QoS have a plastic pitch and we still struggle on those. Rangers are nothing special, but our recent history would mean they could field their U-14s and beat us. I'm hoping Hammell will be back to help shore up our defence, because otherwise they are going to cost us dear. We have been leaking soft goals for far too long now.

I'm guessing the "I don't care if we have to field our 16 year olds and get beat every week, as long as we maintain sporting integrity with the Ranger vote" attitude has finally died. Personally, I'd be going to all the remaining games having experienced much worse than this one. We need to string a few results together so we can hit a play-off with some sort of form, and I'll still be supporting us to the bitter end.

Between family and friends, there was usually 8 or 9 of us turn up at games together. A number of us left the area, but I think the remaining 3 or 4 are still regulars.
