So he held a a position equivalent to Boyle's. Nevin, while in an executive position, reported to Boyle which means that Boyle needed to provide appropriate corporate governance (including supervision of Nevin).

The responsibility for the administration debacle, like any other company, starts and stops at the top. Boyle hired Nevin, and Boyle should have been diligent with his oversight. Thankfully, he learned from his mistakes, but JB was the man at fault.

I think that is unfortunately true. And as far as I can tell, at least in the early days, the Well Society will only have a minority holding in the Board of Directors.

Randolph reminds me somewhat of Pat Jennings. Almost always seems to be in the right place, and needs to make fewer spectacular saves. I also give Randolph the nod ahead of Ruddy because he had the commitment to sign for us rather than come up on loan. Might not make him a better player, but it makes him a top bloke.
