  1. The expensive version of eplsite.com
  2. Craig Whyte + Rangers = Ken Bates + Leeds
  3. I think if Wullie P had played in that Liverpool team, he would have also had a really good career.
  4. When Jon Corzine was the CEO of Goldman Sachs he was responsible for taking them public. After all the processes has been put in place to sell the shares and a date set for the IPO, he had to push it back because of the economic downturn. If those guys can get it wrong, it's not inconceivable that MFC might get it wrong too.
  5. Why would we do that? The club is, quite rightly, trying to treat away fans the way they want our fans to be treated at other grounds. Then maybe - just maybe - the way we are treated away from home might improve.
  6. Aye, he really does live up to his 'legend' status.
  7. Because Wullie P always celebrated 20 seconds before he scored.
  8. Only over the first 5 yards
  9. Fantastic player, and one of those rarities that, when you look back at footage from the old games, was actually as good as you remember.
  10. I remember when, after a few successful games, the Daily Record was comparing John McKeever to Gerd Muller. Hope this article doesn't have the same effect!
  11. There's more to the US than 45 quid cars, fast food and saving the panda.
  12. If you weren't part of the Boghead 47, you're just a glory hunter.
  13. I prefer my cars to cost more than 45 quid

'Flow must have written this one.
  15. Did he mention anything about Rangers disappearing down a black hole?

The irony being that when he was on trial, McCall was concerned that he wasn't scoring goals.
  17. Is there an MFC TV commentary for this? I'm getting nothing, but then realised we might not get cup games.

I don't remember *any* 'Well player playing like Beckenbauer when Hynd took over, far less Millar! I do remember a lot of draws.

Can't disagree with that. Happy we signed him up, but new players often make an instant impact. Once the SPL teams have had a wee while to work him out, they are going to adjust defensively and make him work a lot harder for his goals. I think he'll be a good foil for Higgy, though, and definitely a welcome addition to the squad at a time when it looked like no new signings were on the cards.
  20. I don't think you're being selfish - this is a purely voluntary scheme giving people who want to, the chance to buy into the club and have somewhat of a say (however small or indirect) in the club's running. I disagree, however, that we are in a mess. We continue to run as a breakeven club, and this scheme removes our dependency on the banks, or worse, some money man, who might not have our best interests at heart.
  21. Despite being a youngster, he's been around enough players domestically and internationally that have made bad career moves. Maybe he's one of the smart ones that, after speaking to the target club, realised it wasn't the best option for him. Or maybe he just enjoys playing at a club that has offered him regular European football and wants to add to his record goal tally before he leaves.
  22. Aye, but we're 11 places and 1 division above Falkirk. It's a difficult balancing act between finding the perfect time to sell off players for the best price and keeping players that will contribute to higher league placings (and hence more income for the club). Right now, we have a decent squad, balanced books and are gunning for 3rd place. I'd rather have that than be trying to win promotion from the First Division.
  23. Undoubtedly that is part of the equation. However, other factors such as being an international, and being on a bigger salary factor into it. Most importantly, however, is the fact that more than one team was interested in buying him.
