That's even less surprising than Kettlewell to Ross County.

I'm not sure JBA, or any current manager, will do well with Celtic until they sort out the behind-the-scenes issues. It's becoming more and more common at larger clubs for coaches and managers to take the blame for the incompetence of the more senior people making the decisions. From Rangers to Manchester Utd or from Celtic to West Ham. It will take more than a decent manager to sort out their core issues. No doubt JBA has a future elsewhere at some point, but he needs the same freedom to make the decisions and do things his way that he gets at Fir Park.

And Simon Murray won't be scoring against us in this one.

When we played them at Fir Park we didn't let them near our box.

And I'm discussing the fact that lots of people on here and over at P&B have our manager and half the team out the door already.

Lose to Hibs, get papped out the cup by Ross County and everyone will lose interest.

Sometimes it feels like our fans are more keen for our managers and players to leave us than even the OF slanted media.

Hand over all the Miller money to him.

I accidentally voted for Said instead of Just, but I'm OK with that for his entertainment value alone.

It sounds like you're just making up stuff to be worried about. Some players will want to stay, some players will want to move on, some new players will be happy to join. Same as every season. That's for dealing with in the summer. Just enjoy the ride for now.

Hot take - maybe some of the current squad actually enjoy playing football for us and would like another season of the same.

And Iredale. He was next for a red card until he was subbed on 38 minutes.

He loved beating St Mirren so much today he even smiled in his post match interview. While he played it down pre-match, you could tell he's been plotting a way to beat them since the semi.

I read Robinson's post match quote: ""That's as poor a performance as we've put in all season. I didn't think Motherwell needed to do a whole lot to win the game" We see a lot of visiting managers give similar post match assessments, and I think it's testament to our performances that we just don't let teams play. From Dundee Utd to Hibs to Celtic, they all come away saying it's the poorest they have been.

Happy Birthday. Hope someone gave you a new joke book.

McGinn and SOD are perfect for our current approach to the game. I think they would struggle more in one of Clarke's formations as his teams give up a lot of possession. They should be looking for a Spanish granny!

A wee bit unfair on Ward. He showed once more how pivotal he is to our system. I never thought I'd see the day when we need a keeper who can put his foot on the ball, but his timing of the pass and his distribution continues to play a key role in our tactics. Must be murder to play against. If you stay deep, we knock it about until we find the chance to play it through the lines. If you high press, Ward can dink it over you 30 or 40 yards to one of our midfielders.

Another Saturday, another 3 points, another clean sheet.

I want Killie and Livi to go down.

We'll get another goal about 5 minutes after St Mirren are reduced to 10 men.

Not a good look - and definitely not necessary.

6 million now.

And also who woulda thunk asking footballers to play football would have met with such resistance from certain quarters?

Aye that's Lennon Miller money, and as much as I like him he's no Lennon Miller.
