  1. Both teams will be thinking they have a great chance to get to a final, and a great chance in a final against relatively under-performing OF sides. It's very likely going to be close, but I think our quality on the ball and our pace on the large playing surface should give us the edge.
  2. Great move, great finish. If we had tried that on Saturday, the ball would have stuck on the plastic somewhere near the halfway line.
  3. The amount of hospitality that is consumed at some games we're lucky they picked a 'Well player.
  4. The Well Society email today said if you don't see the ticket in the app by 10am on Thursday then call the office.
  5. For years after Nicky Law left us, we struggled to find a midfielder with his influence. Now you look across the park and we have 4 of them.
  6. This winning games thing is quite good. We should try it again at the weekend. Take your pick...
  7. I have nothing against Utd as a club, but it's always a bit more satisfying when we beat a Jim Goodwin team.
  8. Back to back wins make a big difference, pushing us comfortably into the top 6 again.
  9. Difficult to say until we see them line up. Johnny K and SOD both starting, so likely one of them switches flanks. Unless McGinn takes that slot and SOD goes central. Or something else...
  10. I also think JBA made changes because he was pretty unhappy with the performances from a number of the starters on Saturday. Nice to have some options again.
  11. It certainly is. I'd have thought a short term contract somewhere would have made more sense from a playing perspective, even if that meant a lower league.
  12. I think the SFA site says they can only be transferred once, but I'm too lazy to check.
  13. This was from an article in The Record earlier this month. Short answer, still a free agent:
  14. That happens all the way up the food chain - with the Saudis currently at the top. We have to, and do, offer other benefits like more regular starts and advancement in national teams.
  15. App updates normally get rolled out over multiple days (or even weeks). However, it shouldn't affect anyone's tickets as the updates are usually just the normal minor updates and tweaks every app receives periodically.
  16. I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him, but I'd rather be looking at another Welsh type defender as a priority. I'm sure, however, the management team knows exactly what they want in the next window.
  17. He came back to us after that, though. Then Arsenal recalled him when it looked like they needed a backup striker, but shifted him to Austria instead.
  18. I like Spittal, but wouldn't start him ahead of Slattery, Watt, Fadinger or Just.
  19. My favourite quote was when Iain Ferguson was talking about the Dundee Utd jinx of always losing in the final. "I don't believe in jinxes, but I hope it continues".
  20. St Johnstone were a bit lucky when they won the double, but made the most of the weirdness of that entire season.
  21. To be fair, there are complaints about paper based ticketing too (price of postage, lost in mail, having to collect from office, copies and fraud etc.) The biggest challenge is almost always the transition period between the old and the new technologies. That takes some expertise and additional support resources - neither of which appear to be in abundance at the SFA.
