  1. Nah. Sutton to come on and nick a winner in the 87th minute.
  2. How are we playing, btw? I'm stuck in the office and only have access to BBC text at the moment (which is less than useless).
  3. Can you find a link where we score soon?

    28th March

Nah, I just keep seeing feckin' unicorns.

    28th March

Birthday. Implanted with someone's memories. Same difference.

    28th March

International weekend and, more importantly, it's my birthday.

    Pubs

Totally agree. There are a few pubs over here that let kids in and I hate it. Its no place for the weans.
  8. I take it you don't read many newspapers if you think their daily output is full of fact. The dross that is served up (especially in the tabloids) is written on the premise that most clubs don't have the time, money or inclination to sue for every untrue "fact". I guarantee I could scan through 3 or 4 papers today and find a factual inaccuracy in every sports page.
  9. Any chance you could cover your keyboard?
  10. Makes sense. He was born in Wigan, so he meets the "Don't support your hometown team when you can support Utd" criteria
  11. The "too many steps' decision was a farce. Keepers did it every week, and were usually only pulled up on it if they were looking to waste time. It's like the newer rule about keepers holding onto the ball for 6 seconds - how often does that get enforced? I don't think he was our best keeper, though. McRae tops that list.

    V Accies

Well the Birmingham City web site says he is "Turkish-born". Bottom line is, I don't really care about it whether it is him or McCarthy or Alfredo DiStefano.

    V Accies

The Hampden Chiefs hadn't asked him at that stage, so he didn't tell them anything. It's exactly the same. The guy is Turkish born and bred (with Turkish parents), but chose to play for the German national youth teams.
  14. You're right, but the youngsters won't believe you
  15. True, but we have gone 8 on the trot without losing. I think we can sneak this one by the odd goal in 3. Unles we play 4-5-1 again, in which case we will get stuffed.
  16. That was a longwinded way of saying "Aye, weeyin's correct"

    V Accies

Well, Ireland asked him and he said "yes". He didn't just turn up at Croke Park and say "Aye, I've decided to play international football today and I choose you lot." BTW, I hope the boo boys don't start picking on Semih for choosing Germany over his native Turkey.
  18. George Cumming, ex SFA Referee "Tsar" and now, I think, some on some FIFA Board, is a 'Well fan.
  19. Which, of course, is exactly what SKY wants. Less people able to make the game = more people that watch it on telly.
  20. I don't think that's correct. As I understand it, he can switch countries until he has either gained a full cap for one or he turns 21. Under-21 caps don't make a difference.
  21. Relegated for what? Have the findings been published somewhere?
  22. Because when the clubs sold themselves to the highest bidder, they gave up the core values of our game; like 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday afternoon.
  23. Aye, it looks like a majority of the 'story' comes from speculation on here.
  24. I don't think there was ever a case opened.

    Free Tickets

My dad's season ticket is an OAP concession, and he managed to get the free ticket no problem.
