Brockville, Starks Park, Shawfield and Muirton were my favourites for some reason, closely followed by Firs Park and Annfield. Starks Park in particular I remember for parking down at the water and walking up the hill, the train running past every few minutes and the concession stand being the guy in a van that parked at the back of the terracing.

I don't know if it was a better standard (although our teams did often fare better in Europe than they do now), but it often felt more exciting due to the bigger crowds generating a better atmosphere.

It depends what exactly is in McGhee's contract. If it says he can only leave for a certain amount of compensation, then JB can hold out for that. If that isn't reached, and McGhee resigns, then JB would be able to sue him for breach of contract and get the money from McGhee directly. I think.
