  1. No sweat, I knew what you meant. Like I said, good find - I have a few sites I use for streaming, but that one was new to me.
  2. Well, to be fair, the idea isn't that you have to go out and sign somebody within 24hrs. The idea is that you get to register new players that you have signed during the last couple of weeks or so.
  3. I don't care if it works for the Americans, as long as the Scots living in America can watch Good find, btw.

    Mfc Tv

Aye, but only if they were streaming the games live for the ex-pats.
  5. Aye, big Keith was the best by quite some distance.
  6. I'd assumed the two were closely related.
  7. Aye, that's probably true, but I like my statistics Plus, I seem to have blanked out most of the Roger Hynd games for some reason. Despite our 6th and 5th place finishes, under MacLeod, I really enjoyed that period of watching the 'Well. Made it to almost every away game and got enjoy the delights of Firs Park, Starks Park, Annfield, East End Park etc. I got my first season ticket that year too.
  8. Regardless of the players, the worst team is the one that finished 6th in the First Division (79/80 season). The lowest position I have witnessed in my time at Fir Park. Still had a lot of fun going to all the games though.
  9. Like most forums, the posters tend to be a self-selecting sample i.e. people are more likely to post a complaint than they are to make a positive comment. That's human nature and unlikely to change. Having said that, however, for reasons that I have never quite understood, and for as long as I have been going to Fir Park, there has been a significant faction of fans who seem to loudly (and irrationally) complain about everything.
  10. Sounds a lot like Faddy when he made his breakthrough into the first team. I'm glad we didn't sell him on so early in his career.
  11. I see in The Scotsman this morning, Wattie is saying that nothing has changed from the January transfer window and the entire Rangers squad is still up for sale. So it's not just us that is having to make the books balance like this.
  12. Eh? So the league where he developed all his talent would somehow strip him off it if he came back? Not that I want to see him play for the OF, but I don't think playing in a Birmingham side rooted at the bottom of the EPL will do much for his career. I don't know how far back 'recent times' extends, but Rosco was probably the most naturally gifted, and Skippy was a great goalscorer, even in the poorer 'Well sides.
  13. To be fair, that '91 team was better value for money than anything Man U put on the pitch that season
  14. I'd need to go back and listen to that interview again to be sure, but what I took from it was that he knows a lot more about the scene in England that Scotland and, based on numbers alone, there is a bigger pool of talent to draw on down south.
  15. Excellent introduction. I look forward to more insightful debate as we move towards the return leg. Keep it up!
  16. I don't think it will be channel 134 out in California, but hopefully there will be a stream available somewhere.
  17. The pitch is in great condition too, considering how late in the season this game is.
  18. I'm a wee bit scared that you're keeping track of who disagrees with you
  19. Why? It sounds like Craigan can take it, and is responding exactly the way Gannon wanted. It's not a coincidence the boss singled out the most experienced player in the team. It's good management.
  20. Yes. However, we aren't playing a Welsh pub team and we aren't out. Apart from that, good point.
  21. Bit of both, I think. A guy like Clarky has played for us for a long time, so was probably ready for a fresh challenge. The uncertainty with the TV deals has probably forced our hand to some extent. However, the reason our finances are in a decent shape is because we do sell off our better players on a regular basis. Faddy, Porter, Rosco, Pearson, Skippy etc. all being sold has helped keep us in the black.
  22. Well, we lost both the games when he was sent off, if that's what you mean. He played in two of the poorest performances last season (losing 2 - 0 to St. Mirren and drawing 0 - 0 with Killie) in what were supposed to be vital games. I didn't see much of his motivational skills and driving energy in those; Killie especially. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a decent player, but I don't see him as any more than that. He also embarrassed the club with his off-the-field antics, and tarnished the captain's example that Uncle Phil had set. I know a lot of people don't care about that as long as a player is turning in performances, but it's not how I want my team represented.
