I take it you don't read many newspapers if you think their daily output is full of fact. The dross that is served up (especially in the tabloids) is written on the premise that most clubs don't have the time, money or inclination to sue for every untrue "fact". I guarantee I could scan through 3 or 4 papers today and find a factual inaccuracy in every sports page.

The "too many steps' decision was a farce. Keepers did it every week, and were usually only pulled up on it if they were looking to waste time. It's like the newer rule about keepers holding onto the ball for 6 seconds - how often does that get enforced? I don't think he was our best keeper, though. McRae tops that list.
