  1. We've had clubs poach or try to poach our managers in the past and it's a shitty thing to do. I'd rather our club didn't go down that route.
  2. I've got the international subscription and it's a pretty good deal at only £15 a month for all first team games.
  3. The creative midfielder(s) may well be in our squad but we haven't seen much evidence of it yet. If the team is set up with the idea of Kelly going long to the front three every single time with the midfield seemingly following orders to hold their ground, then there won't be many opportunities to see what they can do with the ball at their feet. As onthefringes says, with new ideas and a different formation with the ball on the deck, we will see what this squad is capable of. I'd play 3-5-2 - O'Donnell and Carroll have taken plenty abuse defensively so play them as attacking wing-backs with less emphasis on defence. McGinn, Lamie and a dominant centre half between them - could Sol, Bevis or Ojala do that job or do we need to recruit? Maguire to sit in midfield with Cornelius's energy and Slattery's ability on the ball. Who partners KvV? Tierney playing off him or Shields right up alongside him? We've got options and some good young lads on the bench. Johnston, Devine and Spiers need minutes this season.
  4. Is the nearside stand almost empty or is the TV microphone right in front of the one roaster that keeps screaming abuse?
  5. We have often struggled against managerless sides so surely it is our turn now. 2-1 to us.
  6. Levin's 4-6-0 carried about as much goal threat as we do at the moment so could be a good fit.

    Alexander.

I wouldn't have thought that he would be able to quit but still demand a pay-off.

    Alexander.

If he's walked away then I'm grateful to him for that because there's no way we could afford to sack him and his assistants. As for the next manager, not a clue
  9. Anyone know what happened to Richard Tambwe and if the boy is okay?
  10. 6th but it'll be the other way round this season. A poor start followed by a strong finish.

Aye and Scotsmen are famously generous.

That's a rather narrow-minded attitude to take. Personally, I don't think it matters why folk are interested in our wee club but all are welcome.
  13. I didn't see him get booked and the BBC don't have a card against his name.
  14. Good to see us having quite a few shots from distance as well as working the ball out wide. Good pressure and picking up a lot of second balls. Not great overall but encouraging signs. (new kit is beautiful, by the way)
  15. Good to see the East stand full and the pitch looks amazing.
  16. Any fellow overseas fans not getting the live stream yet? Had 'stream starting soon' for ages now.
  17. Sparta v Viking still no score after seventy minutes.
  18. Not a bad game. Sligo were the better team by far - decent left-sided centre half, right back and centre forward. Bala were poor and only scored because of a defensive gaffe.
  19. Definitely this one, one of my first memories as an overseas 'Well fan: Edit: seems I don't know how to post a video. It's the 3-0 v The h*n in '91.
  20. Are there any season ticket holders not planning to travel to the away leg that would be willing to help me get a ticket please? I'm not a season ticket holder because I live abroad and can't easily get to Motherwell.
  21. It's not really point-scoring when clarifying two very similarly spelt words (should be re-sign though) with completely opposite definitions. (and it's not grammar, it's spelling - 1-0!)
