  1. John Souttar seemingly surplus at Utd. Worth a punt? Versatile defender / midfielder type according to the BBC.
  2. Seems to me that Marvin gets absolutely clattered at least once a game and I think that's about 3-4 games in a row now.
  3. I won't be sorry to see the three loan players go back. We have good enough players already in the squad.
  4. Didn't he come out with some tale a few years ago that if Faddy had turned us down we were going to sign him up instead?
  5. Nicky Law will be available on a free this summer, won't he? We love our ex-players coming back.
  6. To order a retake of the penalty I'll grudgingly agree with as the main encroacher was first to the rebound and cleared the ball. Never a penalty in the first place though. Second goal should have been Ripley's ball when the aimless through-ball went into the box but he didn't move, put pressure on Law and he fluffed his clearance. Great goal by Vigurs but any reason why Ripley didn't even bother having a go at saving it? Wouldn't be surprised if we appeal the red again and win. First yellow was a great tackle but the second yellow is the one that matters and it certainly looked like the boy was feigning injury to me.

Can you get Alba if you're not in Scotland?
  8. I'm unsure of the league structure so do our ladies now get promoted to the Women's Premier League? Doesn't make sense for them to keep on thrashing (and denting the confidence) of the teams that they've faced this season.
  9. You beat me to it, Kinniburgh would be my pick too.
  10. Seems hard to believe considering his background (as outlined in the article on the first page here) but there you go, another mysterious occurrance that we'll likely never find out the truth about.
  11. If true, happy with this. He will also fit in well with this new fitness ethos within the club.
  12. Graham Alexander has left Fleetwood, wonder if he might consider applying now?

    Baraclough Out

Surely the experienced players letting Bara's team down are more or less the same experienced players that let McCall's team down at the end. They'll be gone next summer so we'll probably not have this new, dynamic team that we were promised until then. I think that the board will stick by their man (rightly or wrongly) so if we are comfortably outside of the bottom two by the end of the season then that should be seen as an improvement on last season and a further summer rebuild should see us pushing for the top 6.
  14. I think every man and his dog is expecting another upset so, clutching at straws, perhaps being underdogs might suit us? Narrow win for us or maybe even through after penalties.
  15. The kids have just received their membership packs and are absolutely delighted!
  16. ^ I thought that he completely lost the flight of the ball, his movement was certainly puzzling to me.
  17. Do they need to have played for the first team? If so then that would rule out the Cypriot Tank Commander. If not, you can add in Cameroon for Herman Umbongo or whatever his name was.
  18. Got an email just a moment ago from Gavin Mclure thanking me for my contributions, explaining the new structure and asking me for personal details.
  19. Okay, cheers mate. Edit: Signed myself up for monthly installments with paypal which was no bother at all. Doesn't seem to be a paypal option for junior membership so went with 'gocardless' but it never asked me for my bairn's names which seems a bit odd or am I supposed to provide that info elsewhere?
  20. Now that I'm back home I'm seriously considering joining the Well Society, just had a look at the website and there's a whole list of monthly amounts that can be paid via 'gocardless' or Paypal and it looks easy enough. Just wondering though, are there still the different membership types? Amber, Claret, Steel, etc. or have they been dropped in favour of the monthly contributions? The junior membership is now a one-off £25 plus £20 renewal which looks a good deal, I'll get my kids signed up for those.
  21. Unless Dan is getting punted, same as Neilson was when Long arrived?
