  1. Are there any season ticket holders not planning to travel to the away leg that would be willing to help me get a ticket please? I'm not a season ticket holder because I live abroad and can't easily get to Motherwell.
  2. It's not really point-scoring when clarifying two very similarly spelt words (should be re-sign though) with completely opposite definitions. (and it's not grammar, it's spelling - 1-0!)
  3. Craig Moore is also out-of-contract this summer; not sure if he has done enough on loan to earn a new deal?
  4. It was Frear though wasn't it? Good to see a winger tracking back and he did seem to win the ball cleanly. Ferguson got away with a blatant trip before that though but it may have been just outside the box anyway.
  5. Can't see us keeping a clean sheet. 4-2 with Bowman getting a decent 20 or 30 minute run-out and a goal.
  6. This has to be Bowman's chance to show what he can do otherwise what was the point of signing him?
  7. I'm still kicking myself to this day for giving my '91 home top away to the girl that I was courting at the time!
  8. Highlights from a fairly recent game, Frear on second half wearing no.11 and gets two assists. Noticeable that Forest Green always seemed to play down the left when he was on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd4n4dWAKlA
  9. In the past we've tended to show an interest in players nearing the end of their contracts with a view to a permanent signing if they do well enough but O'Halloran still has over 3 years left at Rangers so what is the point? Seems like they would see the most benefit from this kind of loan.
  10. So why are you buying Burmese bricks with Thai currency? Just curious....
  11. Conditions looked difficult but for Caley's goal it really ought to have been keepers ball from the corner.
  12. Feel bad for Bowman as he needs a chance to show us what he can do. Just wondering what's changed since Tuesday as he was considered the right man for the job up in Aberdeen but not in Perth?
  13. Nathan Thomas gets my vote. Edit: The Stevie Kirk one
  14. Martin Canning pre-match - "The pitch looks the best I've seen it in years - that motivates you to play well." Not the first time he's had a dig at our pitch even though it's been one of the best in the league for a good few years now.

    Loan Signings

I'm sure that it was one of the first steps in establishing a relationship between Villa and us, never heard anything more about it after Tarrant went back though.

    Left Backs

Rab was one of my favourites, shame Stevie McMillan got injured and had to give up as he could've been a Scotland cap.

    Loan Signings

Neil Tarrant was the first loan signing that I can remember and there really is no other reason to remember him by.
  18. Adam Cummins is back in Scotland with Queen's Park and knocked in the winner as part-timers beat Morton in the Cup. John Sutton scored one and was involved in the extra-time winner as St. Mirren beat Albion Rovers. McHugh scored another two, seems as though he is doing well at Championship level now so it will be interesting to see how he fares if Falkirk get promoted.
  19. I'd agree with that Andy, keep such news separate so that those with no interest don't have to feel bothered by references to ex-players. Yesterday was a good day for our ex-players with several involved in goals here and in England.
  20. Oh well, makes a change from folk having a moan about us having no players in the Scotland squads I suppose. Well done to Chalmers, he's done well this season and hopefully he'll continue to progress.
  21. In Cummings' defence (and Gauld's with his pass) he had a great chance first half and the keeper made a great save to keep it out. Wasn't too bad overall; on another night we would have scored a few but we didn't so we're out. The referee was poor for disallowing Henderson's goal then awarding us a penalty when it clearly wasn't.
  22. With the goal coming from a debutant each time. Might be worth a flutter - 1-0 win Heneghan, Blyth, Tait or McHugh scoring?
