While we're after epl cast-offs might as well get Craig Gordon in to replace Big Randy when he gets his big move to Real Madrid sorted.

Though I had a pretty good memory of that game (although I could only watch it on tv) but I really had no recollection of those hideous shell-suits that Dundee Utd wore on the day. They deserved to lose just because of that, our tracky tops weren't great but those looked like they were on special at Shoestring.

Definitely a club legend, probably our first for several years now, maybe since the 1991 Cup team. Those that have been watching him regularly will know more than the rest of us that the last year or two have been tough for him and now he is leaving the game with his dignity intact. Just one thing though. Stop looking right at me when you're doing your punditry on the telly, it makes me feel rather uncomfortable!!

Mentioned this a few posts back as I reckon that the Champions League game will bring some of us who are living abroad back to Scotland, it would all tie in nicely and generate more competition for shirts. Actually, while I think of it, how about also launching the new third kit on the fans day as well (assuming that we play the first leg at home)

How were attendances during the Malpas season?

Lost its prestige for me when they started letting the runners-up in, they could surely have replaced the word 'champions' without making it sound too crap Don't get me wrong, I'm still looking forward to it and I'm trying my best to take two weeks off and have a wee trip back to Scotland just for those two games. I really hope we can win the first tie and make the play-off, that way we can be plucky losers and go straight into the Europa League.

The backs of their shirts are normally plain white in European games are they not? The issue is with the visibiltity of the numbers. I'm fairly sure that our shirt had the hoop replaced with just a band at the front last time.

Can't have a hoop in Europe though, unfortunately.

The Humph has done well lately, so to drop him would be harsh. Clancy, Hately, Carswell, Higdon out and Page, Saunders, Lasley, McHugh in. But the boss doesn't do wholesale changes, so it'll be 'as you were' and more disappointment.

Has Page done enough to earn a new contract offer? Forbes has hardly had a run-out all season so he's surely on his way out.

He was alright, can't agree that he had a good game though as he was playing left-back and he refused to use his left foot at all. If he's that versatile he should be using both feet. Centre-back / right-back for sure, he's a great squad member and I hope he stays on but poor on the left.

Decent game from Page, scarey at full-back but solid in the middle. Shame about the red card as he needs games to earn a new contract.
