When players are out injured is MFC paying their wages or insurance?
-
I’m not saying his task is easy at the moment when u r missing about 7 starters but we are capable of much better performances with the group of players currently at his disposal he has to manage us through this period till we can get back to full strength although full strength will not include McGinn for this season Ox, McGinn, Gordon, Miller, Seddon, Paton, Stam
-
Fair point but I think most fans are not so much concerned about our position or what we have achieved but rather they are looking at the rest of the season ahead and are rightly worried about where we are going to end up. We need the club/manager to be proactive and change things for the better now. Don’t wait till we are deep in trouble and then make changes. Those changes could be tactics, attitude, formation, team selection or whatever. SK is the guy getting paid to figure out the best changes.

Today it looked like we had no clue how we were supposed to be set up. Not defensively because there were huge gaps, not compact at all. Not flooding the midfield because we were totally out numbered time after time there. Not attacking/hi press mode because two forwards were isolated with very little support and left to chase after hopeless hoof balls. So WTF was the plan??? I really really don’t want to jump on the new manager merry go round again but SK needs to show some sort of willingness, soon, to be flexible in his approach to games and play the system that best suits the players at his disposal at any given time and at least try to play football because his negative hoofball approach is not working so if we are going to get beat I’d rather we got beat playing football. -

That’s a good point. At the start of the season we were playing a lot less hoofball and actually looking like a football team. -
The problem is, the way we are playing, we don’t know

3-0 would not flatter St Johnstone. I have no clue what formation we are supposed to be playing. Defence is terrible, midfield is lost and no attack. WTF !!! -

We don’t have an ounce of football in us. It’s not even kick and rush, it’s just kick !! Off the ball we have more holes than Swiss cheese -

Hoping the “good” TJ turns up today and that we see some attacking runs from Kaletta and of course a few goals for us, well at least one more goal than St Johnstone get -

What’s the deal if it’s a draw? Is it a replay or goes to ET and PKs? -
Doesn’t look like Theo is setting the Heather on fire at Auxerre. From what I can tell 1 goal in 16 games??
-
Hopefully we have a decent squad to pick from. Not sure what formation we should play but I’d pick the best (least worst) to start and a formation that suits them best. Goalie , Kaletta, Gordon Casey Blaney Slattery Andrews Sparrow Nicholson Maswanhise Watt. I'm assuming Ox Seddon and Stam not available and Vale suspended sorry! wrong thread meant for Scottish cup thread.

Could we and would we? I’m not so confident. -
Before I say the following, I am in complete agreement that SK needs to change his tactics and move away from from the negative approach, however, our keeper had zero saves today, so other than us gifting Hibs 3 goals with some horrendous individual errors we handled them Pretty well. Therein lies the issue, if you have defenders prone to catastrophic individual Errors you can’t rely on a defensive approach to work. Based on our record it would appear that, for the most part, we need to score at least 2 goals to win any game so we really should be attacking minded. Our best midfield players are likely to put in good performances in an attacking formation. There have actually been a small number of games where we have created lots of chances and looked like a decent team so I don’t understand SK’s reluctance to give it a go. St Johnstone, cup game, we should be attacking them right from the start.

Odonnell, Wilson and Halliday need dropped for the next game. Halliday. Too much strutting around. Poor pass helped gift first goal Wilson. Lost and WTF was he doing to gift second goal O’Donnell. WTF is he doing giving away needless penalty. Gift number 3 How the fk is that a red card? Clear foul, no violent conduct or excessive force. stick on yellow but still defender between attacker and goal
-
SK needs to change his outlook and soon. He has the players to play attacking football.

How is that a red card
