As usual probably a whole lot of what if's for all the teams but sticks in my mind is St Mirren They blow it against Utd then do the opposite to us, I didn't see either but it sounds like that incompetant refereeing played a big part in both those results ?
-
I'm hoping that's confirmed in the next few hours
-
I'd like to see Moore grab a few goals. He scored that one belter but that's all. I think he has a lot of potential and if he can get another couple of goals under his belt I think he will just get better and better.

Yes! It would be great.

and thats with a stronger Aberdeen and Dundee Uts side this season. Strange indeed. You could say it was our consistency against bottom 6 yet it's those 2 games against St Mirren and Killie that may spring to mind if we don't get into europe. Strange!
-
That's actually part of the complaint

I hope Aberdeen draw and we win. That obviously puts us in a better position to clich second place. Now that is tiotally different discussion as to how you approach the aberdeen game. I agreee that if we go and play for a draw it will probably end up a disaster. So you combine both!! We go only needing a draw but play for a win. its really not that hard once you make up your mind. EDIT: Anyone know any good typing instructors?

I think he just neds a good haircut

Would be good to see that kind of crowd again on Wed night. Either a celebration of having made europe yet again or encouraging the lads ove rthe line to make it there again.
-
Gazzy!!! Did you not learn anything in the shout box today??
-
good crowd. Hope there is a big turnout for Wednesday game as well and get behind the lads. I'm thinking that Caley's season is done now, with respect to a euro place, so hopefully they will have switched off.
-
Oooopppsss!!!! I've made many mistakes and will make many more so, really it's not that hard to believe that I made one here.
-
Yes indeed. If Aberdeen win on Tuesday night the last game of the season is meaningless. If Utd win on Tuesday night then the pressure is on us to at least get a point from our last 2 games. If it's a draw on Tuesday night then regardless of our result against inverness last game of the season is a battle for second place. The result against inverness would decide which team can win second palce with a draw at pittodrie

Could be a very entertaining ( sounds better than nerve racking ) game. We can't defend very well so I would assume we will line up to attack them and hopefully score more than they do ! It could be a high scoring affair.

Go with the heart every time. Good guys to win by 2. Ohh!! just remember, when you adopt this philosphy, it means not betting any money on the good guys.
-
We have also already won more games than we did last season so not all doom and gloom. I think we have scored 3 or more in 8 games. I think your emotion is clouding the facts.
-
I would say we have had a successful league campaign if we finish in the top four. Obviously our cup performances were lacking to say the least and obviously not successful. Whilst there are many problems to be addressed the staff and palyers do deserve some credit if they achieve our highest ever points total. Perhaps part of the problem in the divergance of opinion is that our performances have been at extremem ends of the spectrum this year.

Somtimes you have teams that just have your number. This season we are just Utd's bitches. Look at Aberdeen, I think they didn't beat hearts at all in 3 games, is that right? So all in all embarrasing, yes, but 1 point from the last 2 games is one more than I thought we might have.
-
Yep, I had forgot about those incidents. I recall now the commentators even wondering in disbelief why the ref did not give a PK..................Ok That's it, we are going to gub them now !!! COYW

I think we will take at least a point but going to predict us winning by one goal. Had a look back at the 0-4 report and our back 4 was Cummins Kerr, McManus and Angol so I am not even taking that result into account. The 3 -1 game at tannadice was more akin to the hibs game the other year when they gubbed us at fir park as everything went wrong for us. That last game at Utd Hutchy gifted the first goal then one of our defenders was mauled prior to the second goal. I think this game wil be more like the first 2-2 game but with the good guys coming out on top this time.

Unfortunately I think we need some additional help over and above the society.it owuld be good if that came from a local source such as the counclil or region but pretty sure that will not happen. Perhaps we need to court an individual willing to at least invest enough in the club to ease financial worries, we certainly don't want to fo down the route of trying to buy a team again. Alternatively, maybe we could ( or have to ) become a feeder team for a more financially well of club, be that in England or abroad. To be honest I don't know what we really have to do although I am sure if we could finally manage to progress in europe and maybe get to group stages the income from that would go a long way to helping. I don't think we need massive amounts of cash to ease the situation but I am not sure how long we can survive with our limited fan base.

That's a great deal!
-
MJC predicted a defeat so I'm feeling good about this game now
-
Agree! i think that is what makes it so hard to predict the outcome of each game. We could end up anwywhere between loosing out on europe to playing last game at Pittodrie with 2nd place already won

team selection should be interesting. I can't even guess who will start and how we will match up against them and what the tactics will be. Wil McCall pick the team and then decide what tactics best suit the team? Will he decide on tactics to nullify Utd then pick team to suit or go for tactics to atatck ethem and pick team to suit. Certainly a mind boggler for McCall so hopefully that means Utd wil not be prepared on how to face us? Ok I can pick 6 but who will the other 5 be? Neilsen Reid Hutch McManus Hammell Sutton
