Correct. 47 possible. Saturday certainly has thrown up a very exciting fixture list for last game before the split with pretty much every team needing to win.... Except us but I hope we go into the game with the attitude that we need to win it. Although we are the early game I think our result really won't make a difference to how the other teams will approach their games. I'll be up early on Saturday and hopefully waking everybody else's up screaming my head off when we score and win. Ok I'll still be cheering if we get a draw. COYW

Ross county play both Dundee and Thistle So if we beat Caley then I think we are guranteed top 6 finish.......or if not guranteed at least highly likely.

A lot to ask from the team considering our up and down performances this season but if we can beat aberdeen and Inverness I think we'd be in the top 6. That would be 5 wins in a row and we don't do that too often but top 6 finish should be the goal as opposed to the goal being avoid play off spot. Top 6 would obviosuly remove all the pressure and hopefully get us some extra gate money in with larger away crowds, depending on the annual fixture fiasco outcome. Plus the higher you finish the more money you get. should we change the name of this thread to "top 6" ? :-)

The players should be looking forward to this one. Pressure eased a bit, confidence up a level or 2 after 3 wins on the trot but as you say will be interesting to see who we have available. hopefully a good size away support. Perhaps a game more suited to our coounter attacking approach? Looking forward to it. I'm going for 4 in a row COYW

Considering the season we have had, Moult has done very well in scoring so many. I think we may have found our replacement for Higdon/Sutton. Seems like he has the knack of scoring enough that he could out perform them plus he is a lot more mobile then either of those two. Here's hoping he stayson and we get a team that can create a lo tmore chances for him. Our season will no tbe a complete waste in as much as I think we have unearthed 3 very decent players in Moult plus Hall and Cadden.

The one good reason to end up in the bottom 6 would be to beat Accies in the game that sends them back down

The players have got to go into this game with the right attitude. Get right in their faces when they have the ball but try and play football when we have the ball. no just howfin it up the park............although that wil be accpetable in the last 5 minutes.............. We have to go at them right from the kick off and put them back on their heels. I agree with McGhee that previosu results don't mean anything. If we turn up and play like we are capable of, then we can beat them but we can;t afford to have any players hiding. 4 -1 for the Well

Looking at our 5 games to the split I think we need to take 6 points form the accies and Utd games. Might not get a lot from Aberdeen, Caley and Celtic, although with Motherwell you just never know. Then win 2 games after the split and I think we should be safe.

The team picked today should be good enough to beat Thistle. It's up to the players to step up and put in a decent performance. and in the last 5 mins, if it's close, get the ball into the thistle half and Fkn keep it there.

Playin on a decent park and we are shite at defending so I'd go with line up suggested earlier. For me I think Johnson is more suited to games where we are more likely to counter attack and I think Lionel is more likely to score than Johnson
