That's a pretty decent looking line up. So let's say we grab an out and out goal scorer ( using the phrase from another post ) and a speedy winger. What would the line up then be if we were to include these 2 players from the start? I suppose having the extra 2 players is about providing options? speedy winger goal scorer

Judging by the profile on wikopedia ( for what it'sworth ) he might be a good prospect as you say. Seems like people feel he has the talent so needs the right environment or coaching, mentor, kick up the ass or whatever to improve. maybe another Ojaama ? McCall does seem to have a knack for getting the best out of players. However, having said that it comes down to the player in the end and if he really wants to get better or not. Sounds like a gamble and McCall will have to weight that up. We did'nt bet much on Ojaama and got a great return for the money plus some great benefit to the team. But somehow "Silva the portugese winger" is more appealing than "Jack Smith from Airdrie"

That would be a good bit of business by the club if we can get his contract extended. Hoping for some good news in the next week or so with respect to signings whoever they may be. Just be nice to get some real news instead of all the speculation.

Not sure how much of Faddy's wages come form the budget ?

I know we are all keen to find out what the out of contract players are doing but based on lack of comments from the club I am assuming that the deadline for them to inform the club of their decision has not been reached yet. Once that deadline is reached then the club will act accordingly based on the resposne from the players. With resepct to some other comments I would say That I think McFadden is in a unique situation in that if Higdon or Hately go then we need to find replacements. I don't think we are looking at finding a replacement for Faddy. if we have him on the team it's just a bonus so we can probably wait until the last minute and still let him sign up.

Still disagree. if a team is not in a european competiton what difference does it make to them if he is cup tied or not? Championship side like the looks of him............he plays in europe and turns in a few stormers. Why would his value go down? Also if he starts to attract attention from more clubs then his value is more likely to increase

Don't agree that his value goes down as soon as he kicks a ball.

So can he transfer to foreign club any time or stil lonly during transfer windows? I can see us wantint to take a decent and reasonable offer but I would want to keep him for the european games before accepting any offers. Maybe a few sterling european performances might drive up his value and attaract some richer suitors?

Apologies in advance for being so dumb ( and lazy ) what round is our european tie and how many rounds would we need to win to get into the group stages?
