  1. So another international break? FFS someone needs to get a hold of these FIFA and UEFA idiots and stop all this nonsense with so many games between UEFA competitions formats and international leagues or whatever the Fk it is now and let countries have their own seasons it used to be reasonable with knock out competitions and euro/WC qualifiers, now it’s just ridiculous and purely greed. the players Moan about too many games so maybe they need to step up to the plate and get things back to being a bit more reasonable. it’s made even worse nowadays since we are more global and end up with players traveling all over the place
  2. On the other hand might be building up to a great season next year. 5 youngsters with a full season under their belt. Better than five 30+ year olds. But I think a balance of youth and experience this year is needed.
  3. Be interesting to see what starting 11 and formation/tactics SK starts with on Sunday. He certainly has options after some good individual performances last night. I would think Manhaswise has played himself into starting 11 thru the middle (can always move home wide if we bring Moses on) Wilson showed very well in Midfield.
  4. You can consider Slattery and Paton as starters so every week for a long time we are starting with two out. Last night of course McGinn and Gordon missing, so Utd no worse off than us for the game.
  5. Some good performances tonight. Ox earned his keep. Casey and Balmer stood firm. Miller and Wilson providing some energy and skill in midfield. Kaleta putting in a solid performance. Then Mamwanhise scoring two goals and a constant thorn in the side of the Utd defense. Seddon seemed decent. Now all we have to do is convert these good individual performances into great team performances. MoM Manwanhise. Thought he would be a plus for us as a winger but playing through the middle showed what an asset he can be playing there.
  6. Start like we did against Celtic but this time hope for a bit of luck to convert our chances.
  7. The way we are looking now I’d take 1-1 as final score.
  8. We need to be. Bit more aggressive at closing Utd down. Defending (not very well) too deep. Once again no support for forward players.
  9. We need to stop letting them stroll up to our box. FFS
  10. I took that from BBC site but after looking at it. It’s probably not a 3-5-2
  11. Ok didn’t realize his name was Tawanda. I’m familiar with him, on loan from Leicester
  12. Ok I’ve not been paying attention. Who a Tawanda? Has he played previously?
  13. Don’t know the capacity for the stand but if it’s a real Concern then the club could reduce it and say that “in the interests of safety, we are reducing the capacity of the stand for all visiting teams to xxxx amount”. Of course it might only affect Celtic and Rangers (perhaps a city team in a very good year) but clearly our statement is addressed to all teams 😀
  14. Perhaps something is being overlooked or maybe it was all fine as the CEO says.
  15. I thought we played better against Celtic than Dundee. As mentioned above I think Kaleta, Sparrow and AP showed up well enough to merit a starting position in future games. Now we just need SK to shift Miller back a bit and find a partner for AP. Or a midfield that will support and create chances for AP. Moses has shown that he can score but again we need to create the chances for him. There’s a decent team to be had from our squad but SK needs to figure out what that is and if we go with it for all games or so we change depending on who the opposition are. To be honest I’m not sure what our best team/set up is but then again I haven’t put much thought into it
