  1. Refreshing to see/hear. Its all very well being realistic about our aspirations. But why are we football fans if not to dream. Pass me my happy clapper t-shirt now.....
  2. The home kit wouldve been great if they had kept the original collar. No real point going retro if your going to throw in something not from that era. Its still ok but couldve been great. I like the away strip.
  3. Based on gut feeling. Same as anyone else proffering an opinion on how we will do this season without having seen us play. Our form after the window last season was mid table and we have cut away a lot of the deadwood and are pursuing largely younger players with something to prove who will be somewhat unknown to the others in the league. I would expect that to give is a bounce going into the new season but it still depends on who else we bring in. The signs at the moment are positive. However, I did think Vigurs was going to be a player for us.......
  4. If we keep going the way we are going Im pretty confident we wont finish bottom 6. I think 2nd is pushing it at this stage though!
  5. How do I get my hands on these must have items?
  6. Interesting signing. Looks like he has the attributes we are looking for. The fact that he is coming back from a serious injury maybe puts some perspective on the Clarkson signing. Quietly satisfied at how we are going about our business so far.
  7. Joe Wark and Willie P are my all time Motherwell heroes. Only Tommy Coyne, Doogie and Faddy have come close since. Would be a great tip of the bunnett to that team IMO......
  8. The Pettigrew / Graham team were the first I remember as a boy so I absolutely love that mock up. Would buy it tomorrow....
  9. Brilliant again lads. Absolute genius outro to cap a fantastic week! Its gonna be a great summer to be a 'Well fan
  10. Really hard to choose again for the second game in a row. Everyone played their part but when it comes down to it goals win games so Marvellous Marvin gets it for his rampaging runs, his goal and assist.
  11. Time for the whole support to show the resolve of the 950 at Ibrox. Lets be at it from the first whistle and roar the team on to a great victory. Leave the negativity at home. Twist & Shout baby!
  12. Ainsworth for me. He started quietly and it looked like we might be getting another insipid performance from him but he got into the game and after the first went in he was excellent.
  13. That has to be up there with my best experiences as a Well fan. First time I've seen us win there since the Farningham game in '86 and worth every minute of the wait. The 950 were fantastic tonight and the scenes at Ainsworths goal will live with me forever. Our weaknesses were still there for all to see but its amazing what you can get away with when your entire team turns up ready for business. If the players can do the same again on Sunday we will have nothing to worry about. COYW!
  14. He has 2 contract offers on the table. I presume his agent is advising not to sign until season is over and any other offers are known......
  15. I thought you were at it. But its true. Unbelievable!
  16. Just watched the highlights. I think McDonald is really unlucky to be red carded. He does lift his arm to hold their player off but I wouldn't have called it violent conduct. McManus's tackle on the other hand is an absolute shocker.
  17. Hammell for me. Did nothing spectacular but was solid again for the most part.
  18. Big Lee. We need to stay up and do everything we can to keep him. A few more seasons learning his trade and a big move beckons.
  19. Thistle have Aberdeen and Celtic away followed by us at home. If we we can add to our tally between now and then the game at Firhill could be huge and determine whether they are brought back into the mix post split. This is a long way from over.....
  20. Ainsworth. Two goals and an assist. Looked much more interested tonight. If only he could look like that every week.
  21. Spot on. The team gave us some hope last week with their performance. Lets try and encourage them to give us more of the same.
  22. Its amazing how one decent performance can have you looking at the fixture list in a totally different way
