There was a few game spell there where I thought he might be a decent option for us(shows what I know)but now my thinking is he's a total bombscare,last week was the final straw for me,his positional sense is non existent.i really hope the plan is for us to sign another centre half,if blaney isnt going to be an improvement on either sol or lamie then we are in serious bother.

This won't be pretty but I'm hoping we will do enough to scrape through.lets hope it's not pissing down and blowing a gale or our spinless lot will be worse than normal.

They two are up there with the worst centre back partnership we have ever had.were poor throughout the team but being able to defend properly will be enough to see you pick up points in this league as most games are that tight.we have to put up with schoolboy defending everyweek and it will eventually come back to haunt us,if we stick with these two it will see us relegated.

I genuinely expected blaney to start after the performance of lamie and sol last week,to stick with those two yet again was madness,again that's another game gone where we haven't learned from the mistakes the previous week.

Grizzly can you imagine lamie trying to ping passes about with his weaker foot 😆.if we had two centre halfs that could come in then I would drop sol and lamie after that showing yesterday,both deserve it.

Exactly right,the only option we have is to change manager and hope they get more from the squad than hammell is able too.i don't believe for a second that an experienced manager with a bit of know how couldn't set us up better than we currently are.the vast majority games were losing is by the odd goal,a new manager might be able to turn some of those defeats into draws and the odd win which in turn might just be enough to see us safe this season,for us to leave it like it is would be insanity.

Exactly the confidence levels will be plummeting by the week,we can't even rely on any sort of form at home as a pick me up,I said at the time that I think losing that 2 goal lead to kilmarnock will tip us to the point where I don't think we will come back from it.

I couldn't agree more,we can't keep looking at the fixtures and hoping that were going on a run of picking up points,the evidence is that we will do the complete opposite.

They fixtures will make or break us,go into them with hammell in charge and we can forget it.

No way will we stay up with hammell in charge,ross county will either do what they always do and sign loads of players in January or they will get rid of Mackay,they will atleast try,we can't stand still any longer,hammell should be gone tonight.this result is the biggest wake up call yet,the board must see what's staring the rest of us in the face.

The defence is shocking when balls come into the box,nobody knows where they should be or where the opposition players are around them,it's total ball watching every week,it's school boy stuff.

Results have gone our way and were now playing at home to a team that's struggling as badly as we are,if we can't use that as motivation to go and win the game then alarm bells will be ringing for me tomorrow.

I'm not knocking robinson at all,he's the only my manager that has got something out of scott so far,so it wouldn't be surprise to see them work together again.irwin and Scott are very similar in terms of when they left us,both got good moves down south and neither kicked on,scott may well kick on but I just don't see it.

Exactly,there's no reason to be bringing the likes of scott back,he looked miles off it for Hibs and has done next to nothing since he left us.i can see his career following a similar path to lee Irwin,i wouldn't be surprised if he end up in paisley with robinson.

Exactly right,if we can cut out some of the ridiculously soft goals we concede then we might be in with half a chance,I was really hoping that hammell being a defender himself that we might have seen us being more defesively sound but so far there's no evidence of that.

It's hardly being an optimist to think that we couldn't offload the likes of maguire and shields to teams in the championship,that's there level,shields did well enough at that level before that he would have clubs interested if we made him available.the only problem is we seem to be happy having dross like that in the squad,I get nobody is paying a fee for the two I mentioned but get them out the door on loan with there wages or part of there wages being paid to allow us to bring others in,if hammell is to remain is manager he needs to be ruthless and get the shite out the door as soon as possible.

I agree,after seeing the two performances against sligo there is no guarantees than an experienced manager would have got anymore out of this squad than hammell has.i love hammell as much as the next fan but the time will come when a decision has to be made if things don't seriously improve over the next 3 or 4 games,relegation for us would be unthinkable.if he still had the full support of the board then they must back him to make as many changes in january as the budget allows,we need to be as ruthless as possible and try and get some out the door even on loan to free up funds,guys like maguire and shields aren't good enough and just taking a wage for nothing.
