That's my take on it too,I'll not be applauding him but at the same time I'll certainly not be booing him.he was a great player to watch when he was with us and made the club a lot of money,i was gutted he left to join that mob but to be honest he isn't someone i spend much time thinking about now,he just feels like any other ex player when i see him on the tele.

That's a good point about when the ball is out wide,celtics winning goal today is how they will look to play it rather than just chucking balls into the box,our full backs will need to be on there game and not get caught out of position.if we don't make any daft mistakes that give the referee a decision and have a go,i really think we can get something from this game,there defence is there weakest area and we have to exploit it and not let the game drift by and just hope something happens.

With a bit of luck and if we have a go,there's no reason why we can't get something from this game,there suspect at the back,the plan should be an attacking one.

Agreed,I've been impressed with slattery,he's composed on the ball with a decent range of passing and isn't scared to get stuck in,it's the others beside him that aren't good enough,take yesterday grimshaw and O'Hara aren't good enough to be in the team at the same time,we might get away with one of them if we had another player like slattery in there but sadly right now we dont.midfield will need to be addressed in january,two out two in would be a good start.

Hearts were decent in the first half and knocked it about fairly well but i didn't come away from that game being overly impressed by them,it was our poor decision making in the first half that handed them victory,if woolery had scored that game could easily have turned.i think hearts and hibs will battle it out for third but nothing more than that,even a poor celtic team will finish clear of either.

Agreed,we shot ourselves in the foot today,it was our doing that we lost the game and nothing hearts done.games like today come around every so often,where nothing seems to go our way and were left completely frustrated,all we can do is learn from it and take our frustrations into the next game

If we play two in midfield or three or even a four in a diamond,I don't see it making any difference,other than slattery our midfield options are really poor,to many players that offer nothing and are of a similar standard.the midfield isn't the reason we lost today,we looked flat from the off and our decision making killed us.

The penalty has set the tone,hearts haven't had to break sweat in the first half,our decision making has been awful.

We can't play those two in the same team,there just not good enough.

Hearts fans that were at there game said it was blatant there was no head knock to halkett,he was suffering from cramp minutes before he got took off.ive no idea if its true or not but just seems strange that a number of there fans have came away with this.

Totally agree,the authorities would need to stamp it out right away if it's being exploited,when one teams starts it the rest will get wise to it and before we know it there will be a fourth sub being used every game under the guise of a concussion.

Ive seen a few comments online from hearts fans that say they used the excuse of a head knock in order to take halkett off when he just had cramp,they had used all there subs by that point and we're at it.if that is indeed the case then that will be getting exploited throughout the season.it will definitely stink if he's playing tomorrow.

Clarke has gave chances to the likes of brophy and shankland,if tony can keep up his form between now and the next international games then he has to be in with a serious shout of a call up.

He's employed by one club,he shouldn't be on twitter gloating cause another in the same league didn't win today,it's completely unprofessional.

I thought watt would have been nothing more than a short term option when he signed,he's been brilliant for us and clearly he's put a lot of effort in since he arrived on his fitness and physique,he's just another example of players that seem to fit right in at our club when they have struggled to settle elsewhere.im sure he said recently this is the best he has felt at any club he's been at which is good to hear, hopefully there's a new contract on the table before to long.

I was to busy talking at the time so didn't see quite how good lamies ball through was for the winner.i was critical of him last season and was hoping we would move him on over the summer but he's been very dependable so far this season and I don't have the fear when I see his name on the team sheet and long may it continue.we have some really good options in general at centre back this season.

We weren't at our best but it's always a good sign picking up a win in these tight games where fine margins could go either way.
