Didn't La Liga change a couple of years ago that any handball in the box is a penalty ??? Gets rid of all arguments about deliberate, unnatural position of the arm etc. I think the number of penalties dropped as well as players made attempts to get their arms oot the road e.g putting their hands behind their backs. there was no way the East stand linesman was giving a goal whether it was in or not. He had an absolute shocker as you can see from lip-reading some of the fans in the stand as he runs past them. The standard of the officials we have had so far this season has been appalling.

Young Campbell for me. His introduction at half time with Bowman changed the whole complexion of the game. The pair of them did the pressing that was so obviously missing in the first half. Good performances from Cedric , Cadden and King Louis as well.

Far better performance in the second half. Plummer looks like a prospect with good positional sense but like the rest of our centre halves is prone to loss of concentration and some poor distribution.

Agree we can't say 100% it wasn't a red but the converse is that Thomson can't from his position be 100% certain it was. The linesman didn't flag and I know people have said he can communicate without flagging but I spoke to an official SFA referee and he says the linesman should flag. so the fans know what is going on.

FFS you would think we had been relegated today going by most of the posts on here tonight. We won !!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.K. we won ugly but WE WON. Accies had one attempt on goal in 90 minutes but some are saying we were lucky. We were playing with half our first choice defence missing and still kept a clean sheet. Robinson's remit was to keep us in the top flight and by next weekend I think he will have done that. Lets see where we are at the turn of the year before the usual suspects on here start calling for his head. COYW

don't think we have become less good up front but we are sadly missing Moult. It's not just his goals but when he isn't playing MacDonald is only half the player he can be. Hopefully he will be back for next Saturday and Tait as well as the "experiment" of three at the back at Firhill was an unmitigated disaster. After the reversion to 4-4-2 at half time and we at least put up a bit of a fight.

Excellent performance against a full time team from a ? superior league. there were a couple of miss-matches i.e. men against boys but the young guns held up well. not too sure if we were denied a chance to go to extra time by the referee. I'm not sure if the ? tackle was inside the box but two Airdrie players blatantly hauled down Luke Watt as he tried to get into the box with 10 minutes to go. Don't understand people complaining about Cadden's substitution. He scored a goal from 2 yards and had one shot over the bar and apart from these he contributed absolutely nothing to the game today. I am a fan of Chris but today was the worst performance I remember him having in the first team. Clay I thought was the best of the midfield and our other NEW signings Tait & Heneghan were the best of the rest.

Tait to me looks like the right back we have been looking for. He knows the job he has to do and does it without any fuss. Cadden continues to impress but Skippy today looked to me like he had been forced to play while carrying an injury, He was off the pace all game and his only contribution was to head the ball into the net for his goal. Anyway roll on the draw for the next round.
