  1. Going by some recent Macron 2015-16 templates I reckon this one would suit our 70s sash kit the best. We are also due a collar on our home top and this just might be the year for it to return.
  2. I’ve been on a self imposed hibernation, however, I’ll maybe have a look at the new Macron templates and see what my crystal ball says. I would also favour a one off return of the diagonal band as I have fond memories of our 70s team who wore that iconic kit.
  3. Iain McIntyre from Hamilton wrote into the Roy of the Rovers magazine and asked for them to do a feature on his favourite team Motherwell. Does anyone know or remember Iain? If so, let him know that his letter and article is available on ebay…
  4. They have been playing well of late, however, hopefully home advantage will see us sneak a vital home win.
  5. I am hopefully doing the same, maybe they can sit together and console each other after their defeat.
  6. It was indeed a very well worked goal. As for the St.Mirren 'goal' it is very hard to tell from the YouTube video (the second bounce looks as if it may have just been over the line). I only hope that we can take the positives from this game into the Thistle match and start moving up the table. Mon the Well!
  7. Have you got a link to the highlights? I can’t see to find them on You Tube.
  8. I am glad it's not just me, watching Motherwell can at times be a depressing and disturbing pastime. Last week v Ross County
  9. Anyone catch the press conference? There doesn’t appear to be anything on the official site or the You Tube Channel yet.
  10. I took pictures at the games on a regular basis (first time was around 1978), this was the last time that I took my camera to a match. These were shot sometime in 2001(?) from my seat in the East Stand v Dundee United through a 400mm lens.
  11. Granted, however, in the previous games under McCall and Black I have seen nothing to convince me that the current squad can turn it around that quick for a new boss. I think Baraclough will do a great job at Motherwell, however, I just think he may need some time to get his ideas across. In saying that, I would love it if we humped them 6-0.
  12. The squad have provided very little in the way of evidence that a new man in charge will be able to turn it around quickly. Baraclough will need more time and some new faces to put his stamp on the squad. The way we have been playing lately I would happily accept finishing this season in 10th place. I think given time Baraclough will be a success, however, this season is all about survival.
  13. So he won the league and two cups during his short stint at Sligo and that constituted a sacking offence. The Sligo managers job seems like a tough gig. If he repeats that at Motherwell the club will erect a bronze statue in his honour outside Fir Park.
  14. This could potentially produce a valuable revenue stream.
  15. Two nervous teams battling against the drop. A scrappy 1-1 draw awaits.
  16. It hasn’t, the normally reliable Andy Devlin has run the story in the Express.
  17. Sadly there will be a few who have lost a few bob to the bookies if Baraclough is announced as our new manager. Did anyone on here put money on Baraclough?
  18. So Baraclough is the new favourite? I thought Mitch was a shoe in for the job?
  19. If I remember correctly a previous manager adopted a similar approach.
  20. Bad news for us as Craig was a certainty to relegate St.Mirren. I hope any new man in charge continues Tommy’s good work.
  21. Yip, I can see him being snapped up (either on loan or bought outright) by a team with more financial resources than us. I only hope that no one in the SPFL are interested.
