I was never a fan of taking players on loan from other SPL clubs. You can't play them in league or cup games against their club. Maybe not a major problem but I would prefer we stuck to loan players outwith the SPL.

If we are careful and don’t do anything daft, we should have the resources to get through this. I had a dream last night that we won 2-0, but to be honest i would take any result that sees us through to the next stage. Good luck lads!

Too true! It seems that more clubs are opting to print the club badge as a patch. Even Man United have gone partially down this route.

The simple sponsor’s logo/website looked good on last nights shirt. On a slightly different subject I noticed the club badge on the shirt is a stiched on printed cloth patch. I think it looks much classier when the badge is fully embroidered. Other than that the kit looked very smart!

A lacklustre performance from the lads last night. On the plus side we secured a narrow win and didn’t lose a goal in the process. As for the MotM I would choose Jennings.

I would be surprised if the NHS have any spare cash to give to a football team. Any spare money they do have will surely be ploughed back into providing services for the sick and elderly and not footballers wages. The NHS are not like any normal commercial or charitable organization who need to promote their services by advertising. Your guess may be right but I for one would be shocked if the NHS were to throw money away on football shirt sponsorship.

Choose Life is a great choice of sponsor. I really hope it promotes some awareness of this serious issue. Here’s hoping we can stay in the cup long enough to do this.

Puma have produced some nice C&A gear over the years. I would love to see a retro style track top or maybe some trainers similar to the Puma Roma, Puma Sprint range. The trainers would probably never happen but some retro tee shirts and track tops may be a possibility.

Heavy rain showers forecast for Thursday. Should be a good test to see how the new pitch holds up to some typical Motherwell weather.

Two can play at that game... I know I previously predicted a 1-1 draw but Bliki has me seriously worried. Now the reality is setting in, the fact that we are playing one of the best teams in Iceland is something I fear. I know I have made alot of statements regarding my team but I honestly think we will get beat by at least 3 goals on Thursday. I am not playing mindgames, just have a feeling that Breiðablik’s supperior skill, passing ablities and football ability will prove too much for us. Honest.

Looks like this will be a tough match against a strong, fit, well organised side. They are top of the Icelandic league and seem to have no problem finding the net. As for us, we seem to be a good few games away from proper match fitness. So taking all things into consideration, a draw looks the most likely outcome. 1-1.

Why the sudden change from last year? Our hoop didn’t appear to be a problem then. I can’t see anything wrong with wearing white numbers on the back of the shirt like we did against Steau Bucharest.
