  1. Good luck at Barnsley Jim, you were brilliant the other night.
  2. Never going to happen, but I would like the opportunity to buy a sponsorless shirt! Some bigger clubs have given fans that option in the past. Usually it involves Alcohol or Gambling shirt sponsors. Anyway I’ll settle for a decent sponsor (no naff logos or dodgy sponsor) and a smart looking kit.
  3. Good news on the Puma deal. Although I hope to god we stay away from the dodgy looking collar that has appeared on some of the Puma kits of late (see Coventry home top!). Please, please give us a normal no frills crew or V neck collar.
  4. A wee snippet from a Hibs online match thread...
  5. Fitzy’s goal in th CIS semi was one of the wildest celebrations I have ever seen. Probably only bettered by the 91 semi replay against Celtic. At Fir Park there has been a few memorable celebrations over the years. I remember the Vander Gagg free kick also sparked crazy celebrations. Maybe Yabba could do a montage of the best ones!
  6. My wife says to tell you mines a 12 inch thriller.
  7. I could have went for either Sutton or O’Brien but for the shear brilliance of the final goal it has to be Lucas.
  8. As good a goal as I've ever seen. It's up there with Marco Van Basten's legendary goal.
  9. I can’t see past a draw, with the last Europa place going down to the wire. A nervous 1-1.
  10. A masterclass on simple no nonsense football kit design. Nike who now own Umbro have took a similar approach to their recent World cup kits. Football kits are becoming too busy with manufacturers logos and needless design details. And all this is before the addition of the various sponsors logos. I really hope our new kits take a leaf out of Umbro’s book and goes back to the simple basics of good football kit design.
  11. Bring back the days when you just called Umbro and told them what you needed.
  12. To be fair to Motherwell, we have been a little unlucky of late when it comes to kit suppliers. Our next move should be to side with a company who have a strong history in making football kits. Puma does seem like the best option as they have shown with Partick Thistle that they can supply bespoke kits if required. If they can do it for Glasgow’s 3rd force they can do it for Lanarkshire’s premier team. Mon the Puma!
  13. We can but pray. Puma have produced some very, very skintight shirts over the years. You would hope if they do make ours they will cut them similar to Partick Thistle’s.
  14. I would keep the designs more traditional. Not sure of the team but this Puma kit template in C&A would also be fine.
  15. Just heard there going to dress someone in black top with a hole in it. Revealing a small section of the new “Puma/Hummel” home top.
  16. Talking of kits, our fellow Claret & Amber wearers Bradford City have just released their new home kit. Simple but smart!
  17. Not for me I’m afraid. Hummel have a tradition of making good quality sportswear, but the over use of the chevron logo in my opinion ruins all their kit designs. It does appear to be a two horse race between “Humming” and Puma. But when it comes to design, Puma have got a little bit more class.
  18. I noticed that Hibs have secured a new deal with Puma. Umbro would be my first choice but we could do a lot worse than Puma. Any rumours on who will be making our gear next season?
  19. There could be a backlash from Celtic, although if I’m being honest we will never have a better chance of humping them in their own backyard. Just a pity there will be no home fans there to see it.
  20. Change the Pompey kit to claret and amber, add a hoop and your historical kit avatar comes to life. I've a funny feeling it might be Puma as well. Although when it comes to kit suppliers Motherwell tend to throw a curve ball, so it could be any number of companies.
  21. Or Xara. They are still making some good kits for Norwich. In an ideal world a tailored Umbro kit would be the best. But that ain’t going to happen.
  22. With Dundee signing a deal with Puma there just might be a chance we will also go down that route. Their club shop is also run by Provan Sports. I hope it’s not Hummel as I really can’t stand the overuse of the chevron logo in their kit designs.
