  1. Absolutely agree with you there although the guy 2nd in from right at the front is a bit howling mind you!

    Mark Reynolds

Quinn isn't I believe first choice at Cardiff but he played a reasonable whack of games(around about 40, sub appearances included according to soccerbase), mostly at fullback from ones I saw any of. His situation isn't really comparable with Reynolds, if anything as MB pointed out above his added edge to his game is at the least making him a useful player for a top end championship team to have compared to Reynoolds being a bombscare a division below. I daresay when Quinn moves on from Cardiff he'll not necesarily have to slum it in the SPL, I can see him at the least Pearsonesque finding his level in the championship provided he stays fit.

Wouldn't have Reynolds back at all. Looked promising about 3 years ago but if anything went backward. Decent footballer for a defender but other than being fairly quick next to no other defensive attruibutes and not a good enough player to really make another position his own. Coke was good but inconsistent, would certainly take him back though did ok left side of the midfield. No luck having Megson as a manager though, being doing well not to drop down to league 2.
  4. Aye to be fair to Maxwell the whole cup season and probably season before he was pretty good, getting on fringe of Scotland set up and bit of a stand out has to be said.
  5. Hopefully more promise than Charambolus anyway.
  6. Big Sieb had flair, not often you get that in a keeper he edges the steady eddie that is Randolph. Not a huge amount in it though, Randolph maybe let in one or two fewer soft ones but depsite games like sunday still less of the truly spectacular.

    Celtic

Hard to choose today from so many good performances but especially seeing as he played so longer on a yellow card with a ref keen to flash them in our direction Keith Lasley was immense today!
  8. Craigan has been a great servant and generally undervalued in my opinion but well I dunno about rest of the season but on the back of today he certainly should be sitting on the bench next week and it is then up to the other guys to make the place their own. Bit early to judge Gunning but so far I'm already thinking we might be lucky to have him beyond end of the season.
  9. What I've picked up over the years is that only the presence of MJC has stopped him being recognised as the forums resident miserablist and predictor of doom and woe! That aside these last few seasons have been just terrible I can see why people want to chuck it, the sheer pain of qualifying for europe in the last 3 seasons, the monotony of being stuck with the same old manager season in season out. Who could be bother maintaining an interest in a team like ours!
  10. You must really hate champions league and the premierahip then as you don't half moan like fuck about how shite watching Motherwell is! :-)
  11. Well I'd say it was busy on match days but seems quieter prematch to me lately.
  12. Height of nonsense that suggestion, all change again if we win at weekend? More of a clamour if a better Celtic team than us hump us! Fickle doesn't really cover it.
  13. Dive, it was a stonewaller hands all over him clearly tugging him. Even if it was only enough to impede him rather than haul him to the deck it still makes it an absolute stick on penatly! You don't need to have played at any sort of a level to find out just how much even a small tug can be the difference between losing momentum and keeping going to get the ball so if Sutton could have stayed on his feet and chose to play up the extent of it fair play to him because if he doesn't and we don't get the pen they get away with cheating.

    Ross Forbes

Not sure I agree with that, they are both jack of all trade type hard workers but Lasley at the least I have watched play many an intelligent through ball. Granted he not exactly Pirloesque or even have range of passing that Adam has and Forbes may have but despite his housewife favourite tag is still often underrated imo.
  15. Lasley's challenge looked like an honest attempt to get up and win the ball, but the arm does go up and hits Hartley. In modern day fitba a foul and possibly a booking. But shit happens and Hartley is a dick for retaliating, not that the internet highlights really show what he did.
  16. Frickin sweet! Call me greedy but back to backs now please!
  17. BBC see suggests Hammell and Saunders could both be back. Hopefully also no ill affects from sundays games to Craigan and Lasley will see us with a slightly healthier squad to pick from. I would like to see same XI that started again h**s in cup game if possible. Slightly cautious approach to begin but hopefully get a foothold in game and go on to get something. Provided we put in a decent showing not be to upset if we lose, but be nice to steal a win and get round those auld gits and give us reason to look forward to the weekends game somewhat!
  18. Randolph wasn't released, at least not that I led to believe but chose to leave when out of contract.
  19. To be honest I really don't know. Week in week out Motherwell certainly fill more time and err cause more concern. But if offered Scotland winning the World Cup I don't think there anything Motherwell could do to have such a lasting positive feeling.
  20. Cause that no likely happen, someone winding him up see if he can't get himself sent off would be a wee bit of entertainment and if it helps facilate the putting in their pokey all the better.
  21. Best of luck to Jeffers hope he bangs in the goals! Not really expecting it but guy had some talent once upon a time hopefully he can show it for us even just for a few months.
  22. Hogg is boufing and Invincible was a semi decent player once upon a time, but no one suggested anything of the sort. At best someone suggested they might be worth picking up on a free, which in Hoggs case I'd suggest is still completely insane and well Invincble or Jeffers I'd if pushed take the former on a short term deal but he by no means a goal machine either but might do us a short term turn if fit.
  23. Supporting Motherwell is 99% worrying times, so whats new? Even when times are good you'll likely be worrying that it'll go wrong, when they are medicore you worry it'll only get worse and when its bad you worry it'll get really bad etc
  24. Well think we been saying this kinda of thing for a good while by and large, many tumes in the last 10 seasons we've seen more players considered first team squad players go out than came in. One january transfer window is far to soon to say McCall can't get players, sure he putting a positive spin on it but sounds like we had players interested and circumstances haven't been great. Could easily have had, Jones, Gunning and Grella in for a start. And quite frankly we could finish anywhere between 4th and 11th and chances are the summer will seem much the same, waiting and waiting on players and worrying about who'll we have in. As a broad support we need just take a deep breath and relax, get behind team tonight and hope a positive result gets things looking brighter again. If it doesn't happen then damn well hope saturday goes well or we really can start to enjoy the doom and gloom possibilities. Things aren't great, they could be worse but I don't see great changes one way or the other happening any time soon. As for the scenario you predict, look at Killie this season to last. A bad end to the season is no help but it doesn't guarantee we stuck on an endless slippery slope.
