No idea how he is playing but why would Bristol City loan out a player that has started every competative game this season? Even if injuries have him in the team the now he clearly still part of plans, though a lack of wins in those games might mean that will change sooner or later.

Would be good but I not getting my hopes up. Only approx 1/3 of the POD is open, plus East and DC stands combined is approx 7000. We'd need to shift a lot of South Stand tickets to get up to 10,000 plus! I'm expecting about 7500-8500.

Do we hell. We have 3 decent hardworking mids in Jennings, Lasley and Hately. One winger in Humphrey and after that what, Fitzpatrick who I reckon if stays fit and finds form will do a decent job in the mould of Lasley and Jennings probably not as effectively but put a shift in. Forbes who has a good left peg but no engine and disappeared in games sometime last October and whom the manager doesn't seem anymore inclined to through into the team at the minute. So if we can get a proper left sided option who can add a bit of creativity and maybe even a goal or two we should be snapping them up given half a chance. Dunno if Gow is really up to the SPL but if wages aren't an issue probably at least worth a look.

Fitzpatrick in for Jennings for me. New strikers back to bench and what has been usual first XI otherwise. Blackman on if we looking to get a goal but lets not do what we did against Hibs and chuck on 4 strikers and resort to pumping it aimlessly.

As voting indicates Randolph or Humphrey. Randolph for me, his one mistake I don't think was making a huge difference to whether we lost that goal or not. Ok if he'd got something on it isn't a goal, but if he stays on line it still a goal and other defenders not exactly covering themselves in glory. He made enough other top drawer saves to edge it for me. Very solid game from Humphrey, plenty decent balls into box but a good few overhit. Getting better and hopefully he'll keep improving.

We should have won the game but defending was woeful so can't really complain. No real complaints on the handball, watched it a few times and definately comes off his arm but also other parts of his body and don't see any clear hand to ball movements. I'd be raging if we had similar chopped off. Only real mistake by Randolph as he flaps at the cross, but if he'd stayed on line it would have made little difference anyhow. Only criticism of the management is that it all well and good having 4 forwards but if we have to lump it to them it hardly worth having them on and that seemed to kill a wee bit of momentum we looked like building after the 2nd. Hibs looked there for taking again and wee ran out of steam. All well and good having Blackman and Casagolda but where do we turn when we need service for them and Humphrey off with cramp. Lack of wide options in midfield. Frustrating as hell game but we played not to badly and not many teams will cause our iffy defence as many problems with movement and link up play as Stokes, Riordan and Miller will. 3 points dropped today but no reason to panic. Certainly won't beat Odense defending like that, but to be fair we were having a go at Hibs and left ourselves more exposed we'll be much more cautious in the euro tie.

1. Rangers 2. Celtic - To be honest could go either way for top 2, reckon both of them will edge clear of pack but by less than usual. 3. Dundee Utd - Not overly impressive but kept squad together and will grind out results. 4. Motherwell - Feeling optimisitc, and least we bolstered the striking options. 5. Hearts - Will challenge but always likely to implode and if Kyle replicates last seasons form will still struggle for goals. 6. Hibs - Striking talent keeping them away from bottom but inept manager and attitude problems from best players holds them back. 7. ICT 8. St. Johnstone 9. Accies 10. Aberdeen 11. Killie 12. St. Mirren

And go off at the end thinking, "Fucking hell they don't half turn on you quick," when he doesn't blast in a hattrick David Ferrere style!

Loved the effort from their boy off the shot that rebounded off the crossbar, away for a throw in earning a little chuckle from the commentator!

Someone PM me the password for the NSFW forum also so can view these highlights please?

Fuck right off. Last minute pen, Saunders seemingly never even booked? Was it as stupid a foul as I'm imagining if it not a goalscoring opportunity? Ah well would have ripped arm off for 1-1 before game but talk about a sore one!

Bought mine today despite thinking it looked of rather flimsy and poor quality material. It'll have to go some though to be as poor as last years was by the comments it generated. It a bit thin looking but we'll see how it stands up to washing, least don't need to worry about the sponsors logo peeling off this year.

Another example of overhyping players if ever I saw it. In an ideal world we'll sell Reynolds for some decent cash and Hutchison will come in and build on that early promise. But he played in a good few games where our defence has been as leaky if not more so than with Reynolds and Craigan. He could well outstrip both of them but so far he's only got a handful of games and has a long way to go to prove himself even just an able replacement nevermind an improvement. I fancy he will go and do that but right now I certainly wouldn't be dropping either of our established pair and if I did it would easily be Reynolds before Craigan. Time and again we've proven to be more solid at the back with him in the team than without. He has his limitiations but he has been one of the best defenders in my time watching Motherwell.

Also had problems, I switched between standard and rich text editor and the one I wasn't on in the first place let me post.

Spot on indeed. No doubt if O'Brien isn't getting a regular game next season it'll be proof as it was to the Clarkson bashers that he really was shite after all as well despite it being neother here nor there to what he did in his time here.
-
Well it clearly not simple as just clicking fingers and getting someone in the door, fairly sure Brown is doing everything in his power and come the transfer deadline we should see some movement but we are fairly rooked and players of kind of quality we'd like if already proven tend to go elsewhere for better money.
-
Lasley for me, mainly just your typical all round solid performance. Hately for me was rotten, Forbes again looks suited to playing in europe and probably a lot more so than SPL. Other than that no one had a complete mare and it was a decent start for 1st competative match. If we go on and complete the job over in Iceland will be quite happy, certainly should do on last nights evidence.

Cracking looking we stadium, one of links I saw suggested cost about 160m krone, about £16m or so. Dreamland for us to get something like that I fear.
-
When we took Forbes off we looked notably less assured. Thought he did alright last night but still reckon come the SPL action we'll see the same flaws exposed. Think he does need to play more central and/or more advanced. As he can very much look like a passenger but he undoubtedly has some ability to create and do some damage with his left foot.

Your contrarianism, be there such a word, is reaching new levels. Boruc is 30 years old and no longer held in quite as high regard as he was say 3 seasons ago. It is not exactly a sellers market at the minute but if we can put in a couple of good euro rounds and Reynolds performs well we could easily see a renewed burst of interest. As domestic season and transfer deadlines loom closer we'll see more clubs likelyinclined to doing deals. It by no means a certainty that we just need to sit back and wait for offers to come in but I wouldn't be grabbing the first six figure sum offered. The stature of the clubs interested will say a lot about fee involved, any reasonable championship interest would see something like £500k as a reasonable benchmark.

I'd be stunned if they were the principal shirt sponsor, they're skint doing stuff like reducing opening hours at aquatec pool and generally trying to slash costs!
-
Is it not 3 makeshift right backs we have? Hately wants to be in midfield and Saunders is supposedly a centre half. Then again so was Paul Quinn, but end up being makeshift long enough and people forget. Not sure who the 3rd right back is, could be Page(another centre half/right back) or the Cypriot lad. Either way we don't have a set in stone 1st choice and despite some decent performances from Saunders and Hately there I'd rip yer arm off for a good solid full back with wee bit of pace there.
-
Gazapo might well be as rank as Ally Graham or worse, but given how many slated Porter and Jutkiewicz I'll be holding back on forming an opinion. That said he clearly needs to be standing out for positive reasons real quick if he is ever to get the chance to make people eat their words like the above pair. A stunning performance against Ayr is probably needed to even keep him in the reckoning. Do we have any other games lined up that trialists can play in? Assuming unless Shuker and Gazapo get some sort of official even month long deal(and with current FIFA guidelines they'd be mad to) they won't be in action in the coming Europa tie.

Largely agree. There is a horrendous side to Russian history but if the revolution had spread, there was a chance at one point pre Hitler ruled Germany that it might have taken root there and that much more horrors could have been avoided. Not least within what we know of the Soviet Union of our own history as if it hadn't faced the external pressures from Western interference then maybe likes of Stalin wouldn't have had the fertile ground to bring about much of the worst of that histroy. Perhaps Spain also wouldn't have fell to the facists etc. Perhaps if ideas opposed to pure capatalist greed could have developedwe might have developed into a more enlightened way of life, no guarantees but... So quite right to commerate the horrendous loss of life, but it well beyond time we learned lessons of imperial type behaviour and stopped being the sources of wars of aggression most notably recently in Iraq and still currently in Afghanistan where lives of UK citizens in the hundreds are being wasted and many many more Afghanis.

Essentially he's done something more people would do than not probably. Everton are stupid bastards not to do something as simple as offer a contract in writing that would have protected their investment if they wanted to keep him. He might have went back on his word but anyone is entitled to change their mind and if he gets a bigger signing on fee, bigger wages and more chances of first team games then in this world it would seem he mad not to walk.
