Didn't he take a pay cut to stay when we went into administration, then knock back several offers to move for more money afterwards? I'd say after that and all the years service he gave us he would be entitled to start thinking about moving on.

I think he was talking about the state of their finances and the fact they had to be bailed out by the league to complete their fixtures. Edit: Plus it was the SPL's rules that forced Gretna into a ground share anyway. If it hadn't been us then the problems would just have been transferred to Killie or whereever they were forced to play.

I'd expect Aberdeen to be investigated as well as the others mentioned. Their pitch is in a terrible state. Most of the pitches in the league are in a similar state, but we are being picked on because we have previous. Some might say that's meritted, but surely they must be able to spot that there seem to be a common recurrence throughout the country. So the 1 game we have had postponed this season, due to burst pipes in the stands and fuck all to do with the pitch, makes the pitch an embarrasment?

Went for Sutton. He's been on a good run of form and his link up play and holding the ball up really helped bring Murphy into the game. Jennings and Lasley were brilliant in the middle again and Coke had a decent game linking up with them too.

Seems to have worked. The attendance was more than double their normal gate. And they expect gate reciepts to be up, with people paying anything ranging from 3p to £50! Mansfield

Heard about a trial a Scottish 1st division team was running last year, I think it was either Raith Rovers or Ross County. Basically everyone pays a flat fee of £10 to get in, but at the end of the game they have a sort of honesy box which you can put more money into if you think the game was entertaining enough and worth more than your tenner. Could that idea be used to get something similar set up?

Straight fight between Jennings and Coke for me. Though Hammell had a pretty solid game as well. Not really any stand out performances today. Went for Jennings though. Thought O'Brien was shocking today, same as up at Inverness. Didn't really contribute much. Lukas' touch just wasn't there today, but I'd gladly put that down to the state of the pitch, and at least he still popped up with the goal.

Along the same lines, 'pen' pisses me right off as well. I've even heard a few commentators say 'That was a definite pen.'

Can I drop him back in it for his performance against St. Mirren in the last home game of the season, when we were 2 up and lost 3-2 with Meldrum flapping 2 of them in.

I'd say its a bit harsh having Fraser in there as well. I'm not much of a fan of his either but Colin Meldrum or Stevie Woods should be well ahead of him in any of these teams.

I think he'd have been off to Fulham had the Chris Smalling move to Man U gone through this month. As it's not happening until the summer, I expect they'll make their move then, while keeping an eye on him and being happy that he'd still be playing every week.
