Far from trolling. McCall has done a fantastic job beyond all expectations but his success has primarily been based on quality players as opposed to tactical awareness. After a very poor attempt at rebuilding the squad in the summer, we are a mediocre team in a very poor league. Can't imagine he enjoys heading into training to work with the current squad in comparison to the quality we had last season. And something clearly isn't right with training given how unfit we look.

We're ready for a change in managent and outlook but priority has to be moving on some of our recently recruited journeymen.
-
Know my stuff. I just sat back and enjoyed watching United's young Scottish talent. we were always going to get pumped as soon as we came up against a half decent team. Worst squad since Malpas days.
-
We'd take in excess of 2,000 no bother but I'd rather get involved in a ticket scramble than play at a neutral venue.
-
Appreciate that the buzz stems from being close to the away support but the kids in the cooper would love it up at their end. Worth trialling at a game where we get heehaw away support?

Dundee Urd have a great record against us at Fir Park in recent times and for me are capable of running Aberdeen close for 2nd place. Up against Robertson, Gomes, Gauld, GMS, Armstrong and Ciftci ( although he may be suspended) we could be in for a proper doing if they are on song. Record of 1 point against the current top 6 not to improve any time soon.

Big fan of Carswell but I thought he and Lasley got caught up the park time after time allowing Robertson and Craig plenty of space to run at McManus and Hutch. Not a criticism just an observation, think the midfield pairing need to take turns at going forward while the other sits, particularly when they get no protection from our wide men. Carswell also done well to get through the 90 minutes when he was clearly carrying the effects of the knock he picked up before ht.

Kerr, McManus, Cummins and Angol I'd reckon. Up against one of the best forward lines in the league.
-
McManus by a distance.
-
Ramsden 4-6 weeks with Hamstring. Hammell got a nasty cut but he was toiling already with his groin.
-
Two woeful teams that would go a long way to getting football stopped. Heard McCall saying that the back 4 went into the game carrying knocks so we've done well to grind out 3 points. However, our standard of play and general fitness isn't up to scratch, regardless of budget. Look forward to a half decent Dundee Utd coming to Fir Park next week.

Imagine Scott Leitch would jump at the chance. If he does a good job he'd fancy his chances of being manager one day.
-
Think the departure of Fenlon may give them the required boost. Don't see this living up to the excitement of recent Hibs trips to FP as both teams have been very mundane this season. Clinging on to the hope that Faddy is ready to go or Moore gets a surprise outing.
-
And who wanted to sign Faddy? Not convinced this was a McCall shout.
-
Hopefully Ross County want their two numpties back.

Well for a start, you can't rely on him being the most creative player in midfield. He thrived in a 5 man midfield than consisted of 2 cloggers, Paul 'the crab' Lawson and Richie Brittain the playmaker, who is head and shoulders above his fellow midfielders. With the squad we have at our disposal, Vigurs just doesn't fit.
-
He offered more movement than any of the forward thinking players in the last 15-20 mins. Anier was very poor tonight. Always seems to be finished after 60/70 mins too.
-
Bring back Ross Forbes. Paul Lawson couldn't lace his boots.
-
Possibly Ramsden, must be one of the fittest members in our squad.
-
We're resorting to long range shots because we are clueless in the final third. I love Keith Lasley to bits but when you're relying on him being your main creative force, you know you are in bother.
-
Performance devoid of character and quality. We've see cup nights like this many times over the years and we'll get over it as we're perpetual shitebags. Beyond the obvious disappointment however, I'm pretty disheartened with the quality in squad. It was always going to be almost impossible to replicate standard of play we had last season when we regularly blew teams away but McCall has undoubtedly blown a very decent budget on building a very mediocre team that lacks any sort of creativity, pace or cohesion. Nielson, McHugh, Lawson and Vigurs on 2 year deals FFS. It wasn't a popular opinion at the time and it probably still isn't but McCall moving to Sheffield would have been a blessing in disguise.
-
Not for the first time this season, more pressure on an Aberdeen game than there needs to be due to McCalls antics in the previous match. Listening to Radio Scotland after the St Johnstone game, the consensus is that we will come out the blocks quickly on Wednesday. Not convinced we are capable of doing so but I hope Anier and Ainsworth start and we blow them away early doors. Suspect we will be in for a tense night though. Big performances needed from the defence and Carswell to shackle McGinn, Hayes and co. Speaking to my Hibs pal, Willo Flood completely dominated their game yesterday. Should be a good battle between him and Lasley.
-
Utterly unprofessional approach to today's game. Few months back, 3 players don't get on a plane for a European tie to focus on a league game with Aberdeen. Today, we don't give a 100% in a league game to focus on a cup game with Aberdeen. For all the good things McCall does, he is incapable of striking the right balance in the run-up to a big game.
-
Aye, we've got two shite keepers.
-
Shocking. The signings of Neilson, Lawson and Vigurs are absolute shite.
