  1. The Craig Brown stuff wasn't overly pleasing on the eye but we had a sense of purpose about us and you knew we could beat anybody on our day. What we are watching just now is as bad as the Malpas era.
  2. Was inevitable we would get linked with Murphy as it hasn't really happened for him after he was forced down there. Would love to see him back but maybe he'll follow the same route as Reynolds.
  3. We got pumped up there when we had a great team so who knows what will happen. Hopefully the Dingwall duds sort out a permanent return while we're up there.
  4. Pleased to have watched the game through a drunken haze. McCall may stick around for a while yet but there is no way back for him. We have assembled a rank rotten squad.
  5. Vigurs has said himself that he is best suited to a wide left role.
  6. Also bear in mind that we pulled out of a loan move for Dylan McGeough, someone capable of carrying the ball and beating a man, because he wouldn't get a game in the middle of the park...
  7. Yeah, shame he said it was a very good surface pre-match. Clearly hurting from Saturday but no suggestion of an apology. Stands by his original comments that a lack of quality against a well organised outfit cost us the game. Sounds like Ramsden, Vigurs and Ainsworth will feature.
  8. McCall to give a live interview on Sportsound tonight.
  9. Poor lad, two bad injuries before getting in the first team.
  10. Suspect there will be less than 3,000 of us on Friday. Should have been one of the highlights of the season but instead I'll be hoping to sit in a pub that isn't showing the game.
  11. A rollocking is not sufficient. Given the focus on cup competitions to generate income ,our performances against sevco, 10 man Aberdeen and a bunch of part-timers from Coatbridge are not acceptable. Time for change.
  12. Lawson always looks for the ball? Aye, only if he has a centre half within 5 yards of him. I wonder what some folk watch.
  13. Absolutely beyond me that even if Moore is carrying a slight knock, it was better to put him in the stand rather than the bench.
  14. Bob fucking McHugh us living the dream making a career out of football despite not knowing how to control a ball.
  15. Surely due a wee electrical fault at Fir Park?
  16. Hope Erwin's injury isn't too bad. Should have been rested for the Celtic game...
  17. Disgusting. The St Johnstone game was a step to far but resting players for a youth cup game? Hope Erwin and Moore bang in a few and McCall hands in his resignation.
  18. Ainsworth and Anier can head back to their clubs anytime. I suspect someone will take McManus off our hands in Jan. he's done well enough although not the leader I anticipated. With little to play for we can't afford to pay a decent wage to him any longer. Sadly, I think we'll be toiling to offload the Dingwall duds.
  19. The writing was on the wall since the squad got split between Morecambe and Cowdenbeath 10 days before a European tie. We are still no closer to finding any continuity.
  20. Really starting to kick in this morning that this is an all time low following Motherwell. The fact that we've seen this coming and we're in desperate need of income to stay afloat compounds the misery. Season is finished unless there is a bit of a clearout.
  21. Can't make it thankfully. 7-1 Celtic.
  22. Do Albion Rovers get punted out then for having 7? Another thing that irks me is that McCall never went to watch Albion Rovers. He has to lead by example when it comes to respecting the opposition. Such a lazy approach this season.
  23. Is this for real? Craig Moore was sitting along from me alongside Ainsworth and Ramsden, assumed he was injured. Why would we put Leitch on the bench but not Moore?
  24. Saddest thing about today was the result wasn't overly surprising given our horrible 'style' of play and sheer lack of fitness this season. Despite what the happy clappers have been spouting since August, this is one of the worst Motherwell teams in my 25 years of going to the games. Given that the club continues to preach to us about the Well Society to keep the club afloat, our cup performances have been unacceptable since May 2011. Today however is unforgivable. Full credit to Albion Rovers, came away feeling pretty chuffed for a bunch of part-timers that comfortably held their own against overpaid professionals.
