Wonder if McPake will get done retrospectively?
Was good to see Higdon get riled actually as he generally takes everything in his stride. McPake is a decent centre half but not for the first time, Higdon and Ojamas owned him.
Dear Weir and Dempster,
Please phone your counterparts at Aberdeen, St Miiren, Hibs and co asking that they play out their skin against Celtic in the coming weeks.
In return we will dish out our share of prize money for winning the league.
James McFadden.
His close control, drop of the shoulder, twist of the hips, ability to drift by players, execution of a pass/shot and sheer determination is a joy to behold and a privilege to watch.
Get him back in a Scotland shirt.
Brilliant night.
Wee bit unlucky to be 1-0 down at half time although it was very poor play from Hammell that led to the cross before a toiling Lasley lost his man.
With Law not reappearing for the 2nd half I feared the worst but we had the bit between our teeth, partly triggered by Higdon and McPake.
Faddy was majestic, his goal was sublime and you could see it coming all night. Couldn't have been far from the spot he scored against Partick last time round. I love the guy.
Outstanding goal from Higginbotham. He's frustrating to watch at times but the execution of his strike highlighted his technique. Ojamaa again ran his balls off and plays a significant role in setting the tempo.
Great performances all round with Randolph and Hutchison showcasing why they are destined to play at a higher level. A major positive for me though was Carswell. He's starting to look like he could have a prominent future with us.
If he doesn't sign prior to the International break I think it's almost inevitable that McCall is mulling over one or two options. Don't blame him to be honest but if he has a move lined up, we run the risk of him taking a few players with him.
Snippet from Derek Weir on Sportsound, he think we are still on track for reconstruction. Vote on 15th April. Interestingly, the Ross County chairman seems to be on board now despite having reservations about the season ticket conundrum.
Any word on meeting with fans?
We've never been able to deal with Griffiths at Fir Park since he arrived at Hibs. Didn't see the derby yesterday but their 3 man midfield is a bit if a concern, particularly if Thomson slots in alongside Claros.
Hope Humphrey is back, he gives Hibs the fear.
We're all too feart of Celtic and as a consequence the team who finishes 2nd has been well and truly shafted.
Fairer distribution was required but the cut should have been spread over 1st and 2nd place.
From a Morherwell perspective, I think it's pretty sly that this change wasn't mentioned at the recent Well Society gathering.
Solid point given the absence of Hutchison although slightly concerning that we've had a fair few games in 2013 where we have failed to find the net.
Hopefully we are ready to turn on the style when Hibs come to Fir Park. Feel that's a big game for us in the chase for 2nd place.
The game is finished.
We are so far down the road of feeding off old firm scraps there is no appetite for fair competition.
The secrecy around this financial redistribution underlines the consensus that you can't trust those that run your club.
Chick Young mentioned on Sportsound months ago that this had been voted through in the quiet. Nobody picked him up on it so I wasn't sure if he was correct or no.
Just to clarify did Aberdeen not vote against this earlier in the season and were accused of being greedy?
Not like Motherwell to lack any balls.
