I gave up my Season Ticket after McGhee's first season as I had to bite the bullet and save for a house. Great news of the contracts. From the wee snippets I have heard and read, there could be a couple of gems in there.

Was chatting about it with a few mates at lunchtime today. Can remember my mum coming up to the school gates to tell me the news. She was broken hearted that day. It was a privilege to see him play in Claret & Amber.

I was always under the impression that nothing had been signed yet so not surprised with the news. I still think Boyle is keeping his options open.

See the talk about us having a first option fee of £250k on Ruddy. I take it that was a pile of pish? Good luck to both players, they have fantastic potential and i admire them for how they have conducted themselves during their time at Motherwell. I imagine both of them will pick up a Championship club no bother in the summer. We will need to be really lucky to get such quality on loan next year. Given the part we have played in developing Ruddy and the Juke this season, I'd like to think Moyes would be interested in sending one or two other youngsters our way.

Similarly, take away Jeff Stelling and the lads and I'll think about going back more regularly. More often than not the game is not enjoyable viewing. I no longer see the point in parting with the cash when I can keep track of the game from the house or the pub. The sense of anticipation of going to FP has long since deserted me, regardless of form.
