Absolutely imperative we get someone in soon and get two or three signings under our belt. We've already started training amd have our first competitive game in just over a week. We've lost out on Beevers and a few of our regular first teamers are set to leave. We can't allow the other teams to get a head start on us or we are in for a very long, tough season. C'mon 'Well, sort it out! Surely we must have a front runner in place for the job, after all we've known McGhee has been leaving for about 4 weeks now. Adequate time in footballing terms to get someone else on board. I think the collapse of the Setanta TV deal has had a major affect in our ability to get a manager in and start the ball rolling in terms of signings. That being said, I'm sure it's the same for most of the other SPL clubs too.

Dunno who it's going to be but I think it's a fair bet they're waiting to find out what sort of TV budget will be in place before making any announcement.

The EPL is hot property at the moment and they will have no trouble re-selling these rights. The SPL however is shite and they know they won't be getting anywhere near the money Setanta was offering so they're hoping that the company can pull through I'd imagine.

We're probably just working our way down the list until someone eventually decides to accept the job. I'm sure it'll be someone that isn't in a job at the moment, who has no ambitions and can apparently work miracles with the budget of a young school kids pocket money!

That's probably the final nail in the coffin as far as Setanta's concerned. Hopefully someone else will pick up the Scottish TV rights but it probably won't be anywhere near the money Setanta had agreed.
