  1. Sadly very typical of recent years' game against Celtic. We took the field looking very scared of them and have given them far too much respect. Celtic have been light years ahead of us in terms of attitude and work rate.
  2. Well, we should should know all about Turnbull's skills so why give him so much time and space? Game well and truly over. No red cards or injuries please, anything else is a bonus.
  3. At last ..............an effort on goal!
  4. As expected, we are giving Celtic far too much time and space on the wings.
  5. Yes, defensively they are far superior to us and are working far harder.
  6. Barring crosses, we haven't had one effort on goal so far.
  7. Its clear we are lacking an out and out striker up front.
  8. Thats Ralston's 3rd foul on Woolery already.
  9. A bit harsh and judgemental. I always like Scotland to do well, but I'm not an international fan. That doesn't mean I'm not interested in football per se. You could equally say that to be a football fan you have to have a wider interest in lower league football, but that would be equally wrong and unfair. Each to their own I say.
  10. Pretty much my view too. I used to attend Scotland games in my youth but lost interest many years ago as I saw how the system worked ie treatment of players like our own Joe Wark, and the actions of the SFA. I'm a Well fan end of. Comparison of Spiderpig and others like us to the religious bigots is out of order.
  11. As would Bowman's blatant elbow on Boyd which led to one of United's goals.
  12. The foul statistics will also reflect how streetwise a team is. "experience" in BBC speak. As for John Clark's 1991 challenge on Ally Maxwell.......I've always believed it to be a cast iron foul. My reasoning is that as he jumped he swivelled around to face away from Ally and protect himself from the inevitable collision.
  13. Absolutely. I can only surmise that things went badly wrong.
  14. BBC reports "Nathan Patterson shows why he has started ahead of Stephen O'Donnell as he bursts down the wing and his cut-back finds Che Adams,"
  15. Yes I would have thought that they would have inducted Stevenson and Ferrier together. Next, I'd like to see Hughie Ferguson included and also some members of our league championship winning team.
  16. Just watched replays of the 2 goals we lost. The first one was a definite penalty although Boyce was guilty of simulation. As others have said, Kelly was badly at fault. However there was also other examples of poor defending in the lead up. The Hearts midfielder who passed to Boyce was given far too much time and space to pick his pass. No-one closed him down. Also, Mugabi totally lost Boyce and remained static whilst Boyce ran through. As always no single player to blame but a series of defensive errors.
  17. Absolutely. I assume the management team will be analysing the lead up to the 2 penalties and free kick and trying to rectify those errors. By that I mean, for example, what happened to cause Kelly to react the way he did to the first penalty. Also, a critical examination of decision making up front.
  18. Yes KVV does blow hot and cold. There's no in-between. If he was hot every week he wouldn't be with us. If we've given Shields a 3 year deal we must have seen something in him.
  19. Pretty much my view. No point in getting steamed up about a poor performance. We all know where the weakness lies. It could easily have been 3 cheap goals but it wasn't. After a very poor start we limited the damage - no red cards or bad injuries, so overall job done. A bad day at the office and we move on. I would like to see Goss and Johansen get some gametime in a settled side.
  20. Damage limitation now. No red cards and no injuries please. Anything else is icing on the cake.
  21. If that is the case then the SFA/SPFL need to plug that loophole. Any player needing To go off with head knock should automatically sit out the next game.
  22. As Craig Halkett had to go off last weekend due to a head knock surely he can't play tomorrow in-line with protocols? Or was it just a wheeze to get a 4th sub on?
  23. Thanks. This is the first time I've seen this explanation simply set out clearly anywhere. One final question: What is the benefit of launching the app if you can just as easily download a digital certificate?
  24. I think it will depend on the length of time fans have to wait to get checked and going through turnstiles. Some entertainment venues are advising patrons to come 60-90 minutes beforehand. The launch does seem shambolic however, but time will tell. Launching an app on the Thursday before a weekend does seem like cutting it too fine, as Steelboy says.
